So you want a dinosaur film that doesn't have dinosaurs? JP's been changing the look of their dinosaur every film.

I want film that has dinosaurs that look like dinosaur from original movie. No cg build a fucking giant robot and no feathers or blue colours for the sake of making it look like avatar. Build a dino just like jp did. Other wise it will be outdated in two years.

For those interested- here are the original sculpt pictures of the beautiful Pachyrhinosaurus by David Silva. He actually worked on this about 3 years ago, but since Hasbro finally are releasing this toy he decided to share the pictures.

----

You may know David already by his work for Hasbro with the Star Wars Dewback:

Or his work for McFarlane:

or Neca:

Or, how about his own original work?

Be sure to check out his website Creative Beast to see his other professional work or to purchase his original work! He has plenty of amazing looking dinosaur kits and they are definitely worth checking out.

GUYS.

GUYS.

Guys.

There's a Jurassic Park sneak peak ahead of Oz in IMAX. I saw it tonight :0
It's the t-rex break out scene, although they edited out the goat leg landing on the car for some reason...

Anyway, the film looks AMAZING and the 3D is surprisingly well done. I'm so excited, you have no idea.

Awesome!!!

Saw it a few hours ago too. I don't think I've ever seen an old movie look that improved. The 3D was amazing, better than most 3D movies. Looking forward to this!

You wouldn't know it's a 20 year old movie.

God, I feel old.

So freaking hyped! Ah! I need to go see Oz in IMAX now!

Did they tweak any of the CG or anything like that?

that is what they should do for new one. fuck cg. no way it can match what jp did. nothing has yet.

I don't disagree, but it did make me laugh since you have a CG character as your avatar.

But I will say, CG obviously has its place- I just don't want all CG only dinosaurs.. nor do I want CG action scenes. Doing it real is always better for these types of movies. Could you imagine things like the car in the tree being CG? Blah. I bet if it were made today it would have been CG.

No goat leg? Couldn't they at least replace it with a Walkie-Talkie?
(Might have been edited in the sneak-peek because Oz is a family film.)

That's what I was thinking. There were plenty of short snippets they cut out. They cut out the guy running into the bathroom stall (you only saw him exit the car). They cut out the lines "When you gotta go, you gotta go." and just other short lines. Seems like they only included the action part of the scene for time and excluded some "graphic" stuff for the kids.

Hearing the kids get scared in the audience was amazing, lol.

It was definitely positive. I don't think many people expected it tbh.

Good to hear, I hope they ramp up the marketing so there is more draw for the movie. A lot of people still don't realize it is happening.

And maybe JP4 can get a breath of fresh life from it doing well.

Just saw these online.. JP3D TV Spots (in poor quality)!

TV Spot 1

TV Spot 2

I actually like the style those were presented in.. They actually made me more excited! I could easily see that making people who have never seen the movie interested.

just watched Jurassic Park and Lost World back to back after years of no rewatch

Damn, Lost World is horrible. Mr Hollywood wrote the script. Cliche checked mark list

The Australian classification board have actually re-rated Jurassic Park 3D from a PG, to an M rating. Apparently the 3D has changed the impact of the movie?

New avatar. Deinonychus represent.

On topic: I have a 3 year old son. Would I be a bad parent taking him to see this? We've watched the movie at home tons, but I feel like the general public is super touchy with this stuff. And then there's the popular 3D warning for children under 6 which has been disproven, according to the internet.
