The new Sailor Moon anime is premiering this summer in Japan. Think we'll see that on Toonami?

There's also a Silver Spoon anime coming. Since it's written by the person behind FMA, it might happen.
Silver Spoon is Slice of Life/Comedy, it won't come to Toonami.

Nerdist got an interview with some of the guys behind Teen Titans Go! and one of them worked on Thundercats as well.

Thundercats No!

Pretty obvious what he's saying about showing support for the show though.

I think he's fucking right but there is a weird balance to these things. Lots of shows only get really absurdly popular/cult status once they're gone because of the new word of mouth that's being brought to the show.

Better advertisement and not being linked directly to successful toylines would help too. I do think there is plenty of room for blame at executives.

Ohohohoh, gonna be amazing.
And he has a couple forms before that too, right?

Ratings up early this week. They held on all night too, it seems. Surprised the Titan had more viewers than TCats as well.

I'm out of the loop, so I ask:
Why is TOM getting a new design? Is it explained through some cool story like in the past?

New toonami, new TOM I think is the best way to put it.

The story will be a comic....somewhere and sometime.

Good ratings.

Edit: If you mean what is the "fictional" reason..I guess wait for the comic.

Interestingly, the site only has Toonami ratings right now, where usually you have to sift past all Adult swim ratings. Toonami was specifically put up first.

I think the actual reason is that considering the new nature of new Toonami, they wanted to have a new identity for the revived Toonami block, rather than relying on a design used in the old block. It just naturally took them some time to get it done. As for Toonami-continuity, it'll be explained in a webcomic soonish.

Look at dem ratings. Surprisingly good all around. And wtf at Inuyasha. I guess people like teen drama. Can't wait to see what numbers the new Toonami brings in.

Was it a pair of good episodes? I remember some really fun ones that if I saw them scheduled I would stay up for, or at least wake up for.

First episode was Inuyasha once again reuniting with Kikyo --> Kagome :( and running home again

Second was Kagome basically coming back once again.

So no, they weren't especially interesting.

Eh, I sort of like the ones where they go back to the present. It's a nice break. The one where
he meets her friends and tries to make diamonds is pretty funny
.

Considering that they had over 700k in both halves of the 5am hour, I think that would be worthy of celebration.

For the record I intentionally stopped posting to protest Thundercats and GXP being on the schedule. So there!!

And yes, those two InuYasha eps. are some of the highest rated eps. in the history of the run. Those two ALWAYS do well, the bishies/romance nuts love em.

What two eps where they?
/rough summary

Last two, InuYasha meets Kikyo and both resolve to fight Naraku and Kagome sees them yet dogboy doesn't cower like a pussy and is like "What, bitch?"

2nd one is Kagome going home and trying to cope with what happened and eventually coming back because she wants to be around InuYasha bleh bleh bleh ignore the fact she would've been selfish for leaving InuYasha and the group considering she's the jewel shard locator. I think every time it showed on repeats it did well. The fact people would stay up to watch it at 5 doesn't surprise me, InuYasha and Bleach are really the only two animes in [adult swim] history that isn't affected by timeslot. InuYasha has aired new eps. at 11/11:30/12/12:30/1 and good solid numbers at every slot.

Kagome is such a damn drama queen.
Kagome is a spoiled pre-teen. That's part of her appeal to the bishes and the haters, they imagine themselves as her/put themselves in her position and act like they could "treat InuYasha better".

... I'm not even kidding. I have read some strange shit in the mid 2000s.

I know the shit you're talking about. That was a weird time on the internet overall though.

For the rest of the Show Kogome basically rides herd over Inuyasha save for a few more brief Kikiyo moments.

I think an underrated two-parter is "The Woman Who Loved Sesshomaru"

I've seen every episode of the show, just didnt know what eps were always popular.

Also, the best episode is the one with
Drunk Sango trying to hook-up with InuYasha

Wait, what now?

Does it have a very descriptive title like
"Boomerang tries to Boomerbang! Sango's Booty Call!"?

lol I wish. It's actually
about that old monk that raised Miroku who says he's gonna die. Long story short, one of his final wishes is some legendary sake and in a very random scene, Sango is drunk of her ass and she says "Forget about Kagome and that lecherous monk. Let's get out of here, Inuyasha."
Pretty funny shit.

In case you hadn't figured it out, those are spoilers for a future episode. Do not look if you care at all.

Oh I remember that one, not as explicit as you made it sound.
