I think that is fine to see foil cards open for everyone, that way if someone really want the badge, doesn't need to paid stupid prices for just 1 card, is the best for the system

Even the pre-change foil market plateaued eventually (CS:GO cards dropped to ~$9 after the first week or so).

What the fuck, people idle in games now? It's like Valve managed to take the things that encouraged all sorts of retarded behaviour in TF2 and managed to inject that upwards into all of Steam proper. Now I really wish I could disable or hide these stupid levels and experience bars they've tacked on to people's profiles.

Only 39 of this card on the market and the prices range from $5 to $0.53.

You give in too easily, sellers.

Brutal Legend has 15(!) cards and you can get 8 of them.. I finished the game in 10 hours, idling for those cards will take at least 3/4.. stupid system, they should just give you the cards already for single player games if you put in enough time to beat the game..

It's literally just a matter of loading the game and alt-tabbing/wandering off to do something else.

This is a glitch resulting from the fact that cards are being added after the fact. On a go-forward basis, flash forward 2 years from now when half the games on Steam have cards, you will earn games as you naturally play the game as opposed to idling to earn them. That's the point. And the reason why they don't retroactively award them is because they don't want to flood the market with an enormous amount of cards for every single game right away.

Anyone from the USA wanna help out with mark of the ninja? I can paypal right away.

(if noone wants ill just get it in euro's and sell some cards for it lol)

anyone wants aquaria, frozen synapse, fractal or broken sword? (one per poster) all gone

I'm dumb and bought the bundle thinking I didn't have fractal already...

Oh rock of ages, do not crumble, love is breathing still. Oh lady moon shine down, a little people magic if you will.
That's one heck of a bundle. Even though it's the Director's Cut (lot's of puzzles are made easier or cut, less places to click on), Broken Sword is still a gem.
Aquarius and Stealth Baster look fun, too!

Just got my first Brütal Legend card, really nice art. :)

the new humble bundle has card redeemable games?

j/k

Talking seriously, is any of the below the average games worthy?

The only one I've played is Aquaria and it's a great, rather meaty Metroidvania title with production values above what you'd expect from a $15 indie affair. I bought it at full price way back when it first released, via the developer's website, and regret nothing.

Edit: Or did it launch at $20? I'm not entirely sure.

Some people said it stops giving you cards as soon as you open a second game. So no, you'd be better off getting them one game at a time.

Tried it yesterday with 6 games in the background, but after the first ones (which takes about 1-2 hours) I never received any of the other cards. When I ran them seperately I got them within 30 minutes-1 hour.
So it's not definitely not recommended :)

Heard this a few times this thread. Valve adjusted something internally.
