Also funny how it's an account called "I ♥ Japanese Games" when the XBone is region locked and isn't even going to be in Japan at launch (and who knows how long it will be til it is)... Just a fun observation.

Just gotta drop by and give my personal thanks to Famousmortimer and everyone who participated in the movement. I couldn't do much of anything since I don't have a twitter account or even know how to use one (and I am just too lazy). It is clear now this very thing was the final nail in the coffin for any DRM things Sony might have still been planning.

It is just a short while ago when there were people either saying this wouldn't change a thing or that the people who cared about DRM/used games stuff was just a very small minority. Now we have the news about the stuff everywhere and a silly video made by a couple of dudes at Sony that has now broken the 12 million view mark and counting. People obviously do care and Sony definately made the right decision. So anyway thanks for everyone guys.

Also the cheering that was at E3 from the press. Unbelieveable. I wonder if this came as a total surprise and they were just ready for any shitty future MS+Sony might force down our throats. Thanks to any journalists that questioned it whoever you may be.

This is possibly the biggest, most successful coordinated consumer action ever undertaken.
It's literally for the history books. People will read about it in marketing classes from here to eternity. It's two of the biggest fucking conglomerates in the world changing their entire delivery system because of the backlash.

It's bigger than New Coke.
