Not just what IronMan said, but even much more if not.

Nobody has to listen to my post, but this is my replay and this thread falls into any kind of Gaming-Art format as the Thread Title tells you that. The last thing that I don't want to see (at least to my preferences) when I come here, is THIS. Let's not deviate into tons of category of Threads. We still need to consider that this thread was open by few gaffers because in a way NeoGaf is a gaming message board (if you have watch the GT documentary), but not a website specific towards Arts like CG Society. You also have to follow and maintain with NeoGaf FAQ otherwise your thread could get locked and other bad stuff. One OT thread is enough for NeoGaf as the staff is already letting you to have this one.

I still want to say that the Thread is running stable so far because everytime any of us posted something we followed this direction: Covers/Posters -> Concep Arts/Landscapes -> and then Renders -> Logos, so everything fits just perfect when you scroll through the Thread.

sorry that I'm being a pain right now with this one.

I wasn't aware of that as the OP didn't mention it, but I'll try to follow that format in future posts.

Nope, is not mentioned because this is more like an observation taken, but no, you don't have to follow the example that I shown, that's up to you; all I was trying to say is that everything posted so far fits just perfect here the way they are arranged by the gaffer who posted the materials.

The first image is actual artwork but in a form of a wallpaper, the rest is screenshots and not wallpapers. The game looks very similar to Dark Souls and the first Darksiders btw, I just hope that they will not screw up with the battle system, storytelling, dialogs, side quests and exploring.

Unfortunately CI Games did not release any trailer or gameplay for this game yet. Maybe on Gamescom they will show something, who knows.

I suspect it's probably ok but... I won't be the one to upload it, took me an hour and half just to upload those images.

I'd like to put stuff up more often by my internet connection kinda sucks. =/

And yeah... Secret of Mana was like... my childhood. That art of the mana tree is kind of immortally burned into my memory.

What the....? Is there something I don't know? When we began to share logins and passwords for publishers and developers FTP servers which is not suppose to be here? I strongly recommend you to delete this before getting into serious trouble and while there's still time.

agreed... sharing it with a few people you may trust is one thing, but posting it here, where anyone can read it is not a great idea. i wouldn't be surprised if those were shut down in a couple hours.

So, what's the difference to keep these logins for yourself only, but ripping of the materials from it and then share it with the rest of the community, like you do guys?

And I don't see much of a problem re-posting some logins, which are actually publicly available on the internet - you just need to use Google Search (which can't take more than 5 seconds).

If you don't understand how the game industry works, why even bother to justify what you just did? Do you understand that this information is not belong here in any form or format even if you can find it in PR/News sites on the internet?

I'm open to any discussion about this, but I just don't see your point. Why is that it's so sensitive as you think? Have you been in the E3 2013, or even the E3 2012 threads lately? Every year, they have a handful of list of all available Press Site's. So, why so suddenly it's that a big problem, if two of them are appears here as well?

And to make it clear once again: these informations are publicly available on the internet, so I just re-posted those.

I will respect that. I just simply don't see the difference to share all the materials from these sites (as you and some of the fellow mates of yours do in this very topic), or share the logins: which were linked before in different sites (as I haven't shared anything sensitive, and confidential).

It seems to me, that you are judging me, because in your opinion I shared something really "unique", and valuable. But in my point of view: I just did, what Rösti did in his post (for example: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=61924097&postcount=3). So, is he as bad as me? As he was only tried to organize something helpful (and once again), he was only shared something, which was available somewhere else, let it out publicly: http://www.gamespress.com/release.asp?c=u 0h7

This doesn't give you the right to post sensitive information. Just because one person is bad doesn't give you license to do bad things too. What's more, you aren't a whistleblower. You aren't aiding an abused party by posting this information. The information is held and distributed to trusted sources who have been granted permission, under the company's purview, to repost images. As such, there is no legitimate reason to be posting private information publicly.

I would totally agree with you if the topics were about some so called "sensitive" informations, which wasn't available anywhere else and if I broke any kind of agreement, or in the end, cause any damage to the information holders. But the case was just the opposite, posting links from the internet which meant to be distributed through the general press (without blocking or restricting the flow of this information, to put it out publicly available sites). So, in my point of view: we are just see the same thing completely differently. Which I don't mind - as that's perfectly the nature of any argument or discussion. It's just so strange you are against me because of this even if you are distributing all these materials as well.

It might do you well to read the legal agreements you are agreeing to by using the information you deem to be "not sensitive." Because the language is pretty clear there. I am probably the one here who most promotes sharing amongst all of us, but those companies put that stuff up for a reason. A few of those include the cost of bandwidth (bandwidth isn't free) and legal protection (basically, not having to defend right to ownership).

Perhaps a response more in line with your thinking: consider asking the company and getting its approval before you start posting links to private sources which provide information. If they approve and you can show that approval in writing, then it's acceptable (make sure to tell the mods/admins about it first). If you can't, then posting that stuff is a problem.

Here you go, the higher resolution image is exactly the one you are looking for, but it has a lot more stuff around it... In any case you should be able to get at least 2x the resolution from there than what you've found so far (not counting the actual renders)
