Shaun-T, the creator of Insanity and Insanity:Asylum 1/2 workouts, has a new series coming out called Focus T25. It's a series of 25 minute workouts 5 days per week. They will be cardio heavy with a bit of weights, something akin to Insanity with a bit of weight cardio moves.

If you have been looking for a way to get in shape and don't want to spent a ton of time at the gym this program may be for you. 25 minutes a day and only 5 days a week in your living room is about as simple as it can get. Yeah, you may see different results hitting the gym for an hour a day, but these programs do work as well. I've lost 40 pounds doing P90X and Insanity, so I'll be the first to tell you that they work as long as you give it your best.

RELEASE DATE: JUNE 24
COST: $120 for the base (Alpha/Beta) workout.
$60 for Gamma (extra workout)
$120 for Gamma + bands/mat

The Workout Rundown
Who: Anyone who wants to slim down, tone, or simply get into serious shape.
What: T-25 Workout progam brought to you by Shaun T, creator of Insanity and Insanity: Asylum 1/2.
When: 25 minutes, 5 days a week.
Where: Your living room, bedroom, office, wherever there is a DVD player!
Why: To get your ass in shape!

What do I need to do T-25?
Yourself, and maybe a few free weights. Based on Beachbody's past series' you should be able to do this workout with no equipment at all, but the site notes there will be a few exercises with weight involved. As this is more of a cardio workout it's assumed that the weights will be minimal, so a few light dumbbells from Wal-Mart should do the trick. We will update when the series launches.

The Marketing:
Shaun T said:
The only thing that stands between you and the results you want is time. That's why I experimented for the last year to see if I could create the same kind of results you'd expect from an hour-long program, in under 30 minutes.

The result is FOCUS T25–and the name implies the intent: If you focus your intensity for 25 minutes, and you do it 5 days a week, you WILL get results.

Yes, you are working out for less time. But since you have your shorts on, since you have your sneakers on, and you managed to Push Play, I'm just asking you to give it everything you've got, for ONLY 25 minutes. You focus, and you go! 25 minutes. 5 days a week. 100% results.

And there are major university studies out there that prove the value of shorter, more intense workouts. But I'll save that for later. The only question now is, do you want to be one of the first to see these routines and what kind of results you can get? The answer is yes, because these routines were created at the specific request of Beachbody® CEO Carl Daikeler. The guy's got no time, and he personally reviewed every detail so he could make T25 HIS personal program.

Don't miss the biggest breakthrough in health and fitness since Insanity. Join our email list and I'll make sure you don't miss out on the latest news about FOCUS T25.

Does this guy produce results? I'm looking to start a programme like this soon.

Yeah. These are all about how much you put in, but I lost about 40 lbs doing P90X and Insanity (his first program).

This one looks great being it's only 25 minutes (I can guilt myself into not missing a workout) and only 5 days a week.

That's one of the best things about Beachbody, IMO. They're not about the quick fix, or the worthless gadget. They believe that if you commit to putting in the work required, stick with the program and have proper nutrition, you'll achieve the results you want. They simply provide proven tools to help you get there.

I'm amazed that people are still making new programs like this AND that others are spending money on it.
All of this is old stuff that anyone can find for free on the internet.
Google Tabata, HITT, Crossfit, put together 5 workouts and bam, you saved some money.

And for fat GAF, it's more about your diet then it is about doing push ups really fast.

i worked my way through insanity and tried to follow the diet plan as best as i could. didnt lose my beer gut completely but definitely slimmed down and lost lots of weight in my legs / thighs. it definitely works if you commit to it. results may vary indeed :)

If anyone wants to join a very active, closed Facebook accountability group, filled with people who are also doing Focus T25, send me a message & I'll get you in.

Like the Beachbody workouts thread in OT Community, it's a great place to post your progress, get encouragement & support, and cheer others on, but it's also dedicated JUST to Focus T25 so the conversation will be a bit more, er, focused :)

Was debating on this or P90X but since time is limited, I may go with T25 instead.

Need to sub to this thread for sure now and will order soon.

Was looking at the other programs, and started getting back in shape a few weeks ago, so I think I'll try this one.
How long is the program ?

Kinda intrigued by all this. Are these programs for serious fitness heads or any Joe Flab?

You have to buy his DVD and just follow the instructions?

The base program is 50 days, 5 days per week, 25 minutes per workout. This includes the Alpha & Beta phases. You can buy the Gamma phase (which focuses more on Strength) separately.

Watch this video. It includes a bunch of testimonials from people who were in the test group. Some of them started out in poor shape, overweight & unfit. But in the videos, one of the people is demonstrating modifications if you're not quite up to the full move just yet. So it's really for people of all fitness levels.

Plus, the phases are designed to build you up as you progress from phase to phase, so that by the time you finish Alpha you're on top of everything, and then the challenge level increases for Beta (and again for Gamma if you decide to upgrade).

As far as how you do the workouts, yep -- you just push play & do what Shaun T does. He'll demo proper form, and as I mentioned one of the people in the video is doing modifications. You'll get a workout schedule so you know what video to do on each day. You also get a book outlining a nutrition plan, because proper nutrition is key to success.

In addition, I am an independent Beachbody Coach. What that means is that I provide information, support and motivation for people who want to do Beachbody workouts. If you sign up to TeamBeachbody.com with me as your coach, I'm happy to help you in any way I can, via e-mail, here or in the Beachbody workouts community thread, or on Facebook. I've set up a closed Focus T25 workout group on Facebook that's just people doing T25, and it's a great place to share in your experiences with the program, get support & motivation from me & others, and to cheer everyone else on.

Hey, thanks.

Interesting reading. But is the T25 package available worldwide or just North America?

I'm in Europe.

I wanna get in on this but my biggest worry is form. I am so uncoordinated when it comes to body movement and exercising. I have the time, I walk 2 hours a day I'm just worried that I can't get these moves down I watch the videos and it worries me. I can't even do simple dance moves.

I wouldn't worry about that. You'll have plenty of opportunities to practice the moves, and they have someone doing modifications that remove some of the impacts & difficulty but still works the targeted muscle groups.

Insanity has been the program I achieved the most results with so I'm very interested in this. I may try it after I finish Body Beast in a month and a half or so.
Looking forward to reading your opinions after you guys have had some time with it.

I just finished Body Beast. How are you liking it so far?

Also, if you haven't already, everyone here should subscribe to the official Beachbody discussion thread in OT Community.

Is it sold out? Can't find an order page anywhere.

Currently it's only available to current teambeachbody.com members, but you can sign up & order here: http://goo.gl/PYilH

I think they're going to have it on Beachbody.com, where you can order it without signing up for teambeachbody.com, on Monday July 1. I don't know when it'll show up on Amazon.com or other sites.

My body is READY! I loved Insanity soooooo much, and today is my last day of P90X2, so it's definitely time for a new program.

Mine should be here Monday. As it's a short week I plan to do a workout or two from it just to see what it's like and start for real the following week. I need to drop about 10 lbs to get back to where I was last year, 20 to be where I want to be. We'll see if this helps. I didn't lose much on Insanity (probably because I lost about 35 lbs on P90X...).

How long (days) is t25?

I'd love to do this as long as there isn't as much jumping since I don't have much room to do it.

The base package is 50 days -- two 25 day phases. The Gamma phase is optional & separate, and is 4 weeks.

As far as jumping, one of the people in the videos is always doing modifications that are lower impact, so you can do the modifications where you feel you need to.

I'm liking it very much. I have already gained a couple of pounds and hopefully most of that is muscle :D I was thinking just the other day that I will probably need to do two or more rounds of it to get good results, as I'm a vegetarian and bulking up is a bit hard for me. It's a great program overall and I can't wait to see where I'll end up when it ends.
