You guys wanting mid-20 somethings instead of teenagers need to understand that japanese college life is way, way, way, way more boring than high school life. There's a reason why there's so much less anime revolving around it. Everyone is either a slacker or a genius, and there are no clubs, school trips, beach parties, etc.

TRUTH. Atlus tried to make Teddie that annoying character that you eventually come to love but they failed so hard. That motherfucker grated on my nerves for the entire 60+ hours I played P4.

I've never experienced life as a Japanese high school student, but I don't think high school is realistically represented in anime.

I cancelled my SMT IV preorder cause I got my SMT fix playing Soul Hackers. If this comes out next year I'm in.
I explained this aspect earlier. What I'm hoping is that international sales fuel them to model the game after the western campus experience with that Japanese feel.

Yes and no. It's exaggerated in a lot of ways. The school uniforms are never quite that fashionable, the school clubs not quite that amazing, and the teachers are... well, like teachers.
That said, to a degree it is grounded in reality, and Japanese people tend to look back on their high school days more fondly than anything else growing up.

But it's the same game as Persona 3 without the cutscenes. Also FeMC. Also Vincent's in it. Also it's the quickest way to get through P3
But Vincent acts exactly like a wishy-washy weak teenage harem lead so what's the diff except he grows as a character and is written better?
Shouldn't people care about better characters and writing then a higher number?
