PokéBOMB ?: A mysterious silhouette - GameFreak Post

I dunno, but a silhouette possibly related to Pokemon reminds me of this:
No0wPOg.jpg

1.) It's a game.
2.)The game is not Pokemon.
3.) Gamefreak is collaborating with the makers of that game.
4.) Half Life 3 confirmed.

harvest moon looks like the most possible in my eyes. how many game franchises are known around the world with pony/donkeys in them that gamefreak could be working on? i always thought the harvest moon series had some untapped potential as it was. about time we got some news on the next iteration as well.

Maybe this is related to the mystery title that Iwata wants to keep under wraps until close to release. Maybe it's Monster Hunter x Persona x Pokemon. If they tease now, some announcement or a direct will happen probably later this month.

No idea what that game is, but it looks plausible.

Anyone bother to actually translate the Japanese on the webpage? That might have a hint. Or the answer.

.hack, a series of RPGs released during the PS2 era by Namco, this is from the Anime adaption though. Basically it was a single-player game that pretended to be a MMORPG, and was pretty fun, if a bit grindy.

Yep, it was in my first post

"The well known game, played all around the world, is about to be reborn thanks to a surprising collaboration"

If no international page pops up, its surely a japanese focused collaboration despite the "played throughout the world" line.

Though its probably just a promotion with some horse mascot from a japanese variety show none of us know about.

If it's a GameFreak franchise, it would obviously be Pokemon, but I think it would be quite interesting and pretty cool if GameFreak is collaborating on another company's franchise.

Finally, GameFreak x Namco Bandai, or GameFreak x Atlus.

Edit: Ah yes, Pocket Monster Hunter would be awesome. Totally forgot about that.

Man, that horse has a pretty big head.

Ignoring Pokemon (would GF really call Pokemon merely "well known", c'mon now), the only IP they have that could apply for that description, in a pinch, is Drill Dozer.. so that can't be it either. How exciting!

The only media thing I can think of with Shetland Ponies is Hark, A Vagrant. And I seriously doubt its that.

If it's not a collaboration with an existing nintendo franchise i'm going with monster hunter or maybe it's based off some type of final fantasy creature

I got it!

It's actually a chibified version of Red Hare, Lu-Bu's horse.

Pokemon x Dynasty Warriors!

I don't see how you could conclude that.
