Well there is these things called high end PC's & even though PS4 is the most powerful console on the market Sony might want the PS4 to be able to run games that are on PC without too much of a downgrade.

Why can't these people check their facts and terms to make it sound like they at least have a slight idea what they're talking about? PS4 is gonna be revealed in two months? Ok then, guess Sony has been bluffing all along, what we think is the PS4 isn't actually it at all. And apparently Jack is the CEO of "Sony Entertainment". Etc, etc.

I think she did a good job for the most part, both her interviews got me super hyped! Ya she said a few things wrong, but I also feel she handled the interviews with excitement around the product.

Yeah, she was pretty good otherwise, I just wish people who get to interview these people would make more of an effort to get their facts straight. To me it seems a bit sloppy and unprofessional, but I guess the vast majority of people who would watch this wouldn't know the difference.

Is it just me or it looks like the dude is also trying to turn on the controller (hand operating thing) before the gif cuts out.. that would be rather redundant to turn both on... no? Is it like the PS3, you still need to turn on the controller (hand operating thing) if you turn on the console? and can you turn the console on with the controller?

In the "A Day With Playstation" ad they put out at the pre-TGS event, they definitely showed a guy turning on the console with just the controller's home button.

I'm sure you can turn on the console with the controller.
And sometimes I do that - ps3 or 360 - where I power on the console before I choose which controller to use.

People have extrapolated it from the killzone profiler screencap. It's 1.6 GHz unless they upped it.

In all honesty, these people are paid to get their facts straight, but at the same time, they cover like 30 million topics and are shuffling through so many stuff that honestly, they come across as uninformed compared to your average tech journalist.
And sometimes, they are fully aware that it's their role to play things up, just to make their coverage more exciting.
That could have come from the older devkits that used AMD Bulldozer clocked at 1.6GHz
that's what was in the PS4 Devkits up until the beginning of this year so what you was looking at could have been from the older devkits the clock speed for the Jaguar cores in the SoC Devkit isn't shown even on VGLeaks

It would honestly surprise me a bit if it hadn't already been thought of, but you never know. People like to watch films in total darkness, lights from controllers and boxes under the tv are a pain in the backside.
