It's not coming for your favourite console? Make a petition or something but stop all the crying. Judging from everything you'd wish for in the game you should wish for this to be on the PC anyways. Better gfx, better scale, mod support, mouse control, a plethora of options for your online needs. And if you care that much about high definition, why limit it to 1080p (if they could even achieve that on PS3) and not play it at 1200p instead?
Bottom line:
You're just bitter it's not announced for your favourite plattform (yet), else you'd be anticipating a PC release since it would be best suited for the MH experience you wish for.

Is it wrong to want better visuals? Oh and actually if you dont count graphics/pretty pictures then id prefer for it to stay on the psp since i am so used to playing the game on the bus now.

Wii online is what the developer makes of it. If they want friend codes they can have them or develop their own system like EA did. I swear I'm starting to think it becoming a habit for people just to automatically call Wii's online capability shit. Theres nothing that it does online that Wii can't do.
Sigh as a Wii and PS3 (om a few hours) owner I'm REALLY disappointed. I hope that Capcom in their indefinite whoring out wisdom will bring the MH franchise to PS360 too with nice HD graphics and good online support, the series deserves it. I don't see how the Wii version will be able to expand the game at all.
Friend Codes, Voice Support, No DLC, no HD graphics. The Wii brings nothing to the table for the franchise NOTHING.
I'm more excited for Umbrella Chronicles (day one baby) then this. There is no point in bringing this to the Wii.

Is it really too early for N fanboys (who may have never played MH at all) to laugh at Sony fanboys and celebrate on the MHWii "exclusivity" and how great the game will be for Wii (yeah how?)? Capcom never said MH3 was exclusive to PS3, and they never do so for Wii either. Announcing MH for Wii on a Nintendo conference without mentioning other platforms makes perfect sense, but this doesn't eliminate the possibility of going multiplatform later. We actually saw similar cases for other games, such as Dynasty Warrior 6.

Who says it can't evolve on the Wii? I mean, it's like 4x more powerful than the PS2 and has a much more capable TEV-based GPU. Oh, and this newfangled remote controller thingy. Those things could bring more than "NOTHING" to the game.

I can't see how you guys as multi plat owners can be excited for this. If you only own a Wii sure this is nice I guess.
RE4wii is my favourite game on the system and while I'm looking forward to RE5 I fear that waggle controls have spoiled me. Waggle makes the control perfect in this game and is of added value, and if I had the choice I'd play RE5 on my Wii instead of PS3 I think. Just for the controls.
In the case of Monster Hunter though, the Wii won't bring anything great to the table. In fact no HDD, no microphones etc. will probably gimp the game.

So many great announcements, and unexpected so even more great!
- Wii Music still on track is excellent news, probably the best imo.
- Wii Fit hitting $70-80 is great.
- Mario Kart Wii with bikes is amazing!! Can't wait.
- FEDS is excellent! Intelligent Systems practically confirmed it, but it's still nice to see officially. I hope it's totally new.
- Card Hero DS looks like it's by Intelligent Systems by the photo of the mag, so could be another great title:
- SSBB keeps getting better and better!
- WiiWare sounds great! Much more ambitious than I imagined it would be. Looking forward to Dr. Mario, Pokémon Ranch and hopefully the FFCC will be decent. DS Downloads is also great news.
- Super Mario Stadium, by EAD = awesome, but I'd guess it's by Namco, so it could be good if they get the controls right.
