Sony UK 'ready and willing' to break sales record with PS4

I don't think they have many to sell, unfortunately. Would love to have seen it if they had more consoles than demand, get some true numbers of how many they could have sold in one day.
No way they would have sent 750K to UK for launch when US got 1M.
If they did, they probably could sell through, if not in a day then 2.
It will be between 235K-375K at the most. Sony still has to allocate units to other countries.

I'm guessing 200K UK sales, 1m total EU sales, another 50-100K US sales for black friday.

Another 800K sales in December, which would give them the 3m for 2013 number. Then the sales slow more to normal till the 500K or so Japan launch. I see them meeting or exceeding the original 5m by March figure

Oh well I hadn't heard of how much UK was getting for an allotment. I guess I assumed they were getting more than they actually were.
Half of that is still quite reaching. 200-250K is prolly a safe bet.

Gamestop had a black friday bundle but those sold out in seconds.
Best Buy around here got some more in, was a " surprise " black friday treat to see on the shelves, those lasted less time then the big TV sales lol. So yeah some additional units here in the US but not a massive amount.

If it's as fast as the US, then Sunday. UK will be Monday at the latest and I think that'll be the same for the whole of EU. But hopefully tomorrow/Sunday.
I saw a few PS4's at the MicroCenter Near Cincinati Ohio this morning waiting in line to get out. They seemed to restock the table so they always had 5 on it. However i have no idea if they a new shipment or just held back stock since they have so many people in store for Black Friday.

I was fortunate enough to pick one up yestartday at Walmart. They had 11 on hand for their 6PM blowout. The employee I spoke to though did state that they had stock for a few days but would not sell them until last night.

Channel 4 in the UK has always had cool pictures that they rotate and show them forming a "4". It's a really good tie in for the PS4 though, I agree.

Yep. A few of my relatives are Black Friday shoppers, and picked up systems this morning. There was stock at the big box retailers. Also, somebody posted that Target.com was filling orders for a little while before they sold out.
Same in Australia. You can still buy Day One Edition X1's from EB games.

It lasted 2-3 hours I believe. The Xbox bundle lasted longer, I think they removed it and switched it to a 3 game bundle last night though, and it's still available,

Damn. That just shows that the PS4 is tons more popular all around the world & is very high in demand than Xbox One is. I don't know if I could say the same for countries like the U.S. & Brazil, though.
