It's funny that guy mentions Activision, considering they actually have a highly successful kid's IP. One that also happens to be very successful on Nintendo platforms and probably makes more money than most EA franchises.
well.. he is telling the truth, just look at Nintendo's wii u release for 2013, kids game across the board :d but hey in 2014, they're gonna try to expand the audience with smash, bayonetta 2, x atleast
Not just you, EA.
'Kids platform' is a little harsh though, I think Nintendo prefer the term 'non highly skilled users'.
Are you telling me that a full priced mass effect 3 released months after it came out on other consoles meaning those versions were at least half the price didn't sell well on the wii u? Not to mention that gee, the trilogy package came out at around the same time as well for the ps3/xbox/pc. I can't imagine why mass effect sold poorly.
Ubisoft tends to mouth off. Theres a reason why some pc gamers hate them.
That sure is the most depressing thing I've read today. If Nintendo wants to entice the core gamer, it must summon meaningful support from the third party publishers who earn their crust with berserk and shouty war games.
OKAY

OKAY
Whoever makes a good Berserk game earns my crust. Whatever that means.
uh, Nintendo games aren't kids IPs... they are masterpieces -_- But the main part of that message is right.
not a fan of EA and citing the ME3 port as "solid effort" is funny but lets be real they don't have any incentive to publish on it
if BF4 runs like it does on next gen, could you image how it it run on wii u? Don't think supporting Nintendo would help them, in fact it might make things worse

YOU TAKE THAT BACK OR FISTYCUFFS WILL ENSUE!!!!!
Nintendo's sure good looking.damn what a statement.
Nintendo in the white, EA in the red lol.
Most of their stuff is shovelware, but I don't think Skylanders is? I believe Activision even considers it one of their core franchises next to Call of Duty. But I never played one of those games, so I wouldn't know. This is a polite way of rephrasing my post.
Frankly i don't know what to think, usually pr are full of bullshits to keep everyone quiet and happy, this one is too heavy to be a bullshit, i guess that this is what they really think.
While Nintendo games are good and suited for adults too you can't deny that Nintendo games(and Nintendo's image and policies in general) are aimed to children(well Metroid and something else apart i guess).
To be honest, I really don't think releasing the trilogy as a package at launch would've made a massive impact. The audience just wasn't, and still isn't there.ME3 was a fine effort, but they released it alongside that Trilogy pack which not only a far better value but also with ME3 they failed to introduce the average Nintendo fan to the franchise.

I think everyone who made those is shut down now.
Well, if you wouldn't look closer it'd seem that Acti doesn't publish anything else than Skylanders and COD these days lol. Most of their stuff is shovel ware, but I don't think Skylanders is. I believe Activision even considers it one of their core franchises next to Call of Duty.
