Makes me sad because PT. 2 really nailed the "super hacker" feeling the games were going for. This game just looks like all the worst parts of MGS5 recruitment transactions.

I'm not surprised.
The quality of Ubisoft games these last few years has been slowly becoming more and more mediocre with each release. Ghost Recon, Watch Dogs, The Division, etc.
All of Ubisoft's games for the last 5 years have the same factory style approach to just pumping and dumping the same release year after year with issues, nonstop paid DLC, and nonsense.
I look at Watch Dogs with all the hacker-esque silliness and for whatever reason I'm just turned off. It looks half-decent via videos that I see but I don't know, perhaps Ubisoft should create more story-driven linear games for a bit.

It's absolute trash. For one, it does not feel like London. Its as if they sat on Google Maps and based it off of that and TV Shows. Also, all the women on this game are absolute hideous. I legit spent 3 hours looking around for an semi decent looking female character. The wokeness level is high with it and as such its suffered.
Whilst I like AC Vahalla, I can see aspects of wokeness inside of it. And for that reason as they transition further and further away from what people actually enjoy in games, all for politics, they will lose money.

Think it's nigh impossible to tell. Corporations will pursue projects for ideological reasons, and continue with unpopular products... to spite the wrong sort of people not liking them.
Because the game is Woke Antifa Simulator 2020 BLM Edition we will see a Watchdogs 4 not matter how well this one did just because... it isn't about the money.

There's literally nothing about the game that appeals to me. I'm sure there's plenty of incorporated politics that I want no part of jammed into it, but honestly I think the premise of the entire franchise just sucks. Hackers saving the world sounds like fan fiction from people who take the Matrix too seriously.

Shows $29.99 on Best Buy for all standard editions on my computer. I posted about this the other day. "They" say the game may still be boring or not boring depending on your viewpoint, but "they" do say the Playstation 5 version is a properly playable version of the game instead of it's buggy as hell PS4 version counterpart. Read that in an article.

Maybe because corporations who make the things everyone likes have become obsessed about it and many people think it sucks??
People who never would actually play the game said the same exact thing about Watch_Dogs 2 and the only thing really "woke" about it was one supporting character that made sense as the game was set in San Francisco. The game was basically a video game version of the 90's Hackers movie.
I'm about 10 hours into Legion and haven't seen anything "woke" yet.
