It’s been delayed because Hasan doesn’t know when to go to bed and sits up all night tweeting to fuel the rumours.

Tell me this honestly, if you were an indie dev making all these grand claims about how amazing your game is going to be, and how everyone will see that when your trailers app launches, why would you be spending literally hours doing interviews, tweeting random replies and gaining achievements on your Steam/PSN accounts in other games instead of making sure your hyped up trailers app gets out the door on time?

Something is very fishy with all of this.

At least there we saw an overhyped trailer at first, here we just saw the dude's chad avatar and a few tweets.

Edit: oh yeah, forgot about that shitty walking in the woods teaser

I can't believe people are looking at some of the sketchy shit surrounding this whole thing and who realise something is afoot only to flip flop when something appears that slightly causes pause.

Look at the bigger picture, use your intuition, never mind these virgin smart arses who are desperate to look like sensible geniuses if this thing goes their way. It won't.

You don't get a grift from someone this low key without someone heavily coming out and laying the smackdown on his past. The guy's a nom de plume. All this asset flip shit, that didn't actually release to real customers, thus no real blow back only strengthens the ride. I mean anyone with any fucking sense can see those Steam pages are rigged bullshit from the off. It's part of the arg. No paying customer was hurt in the making of this fake game, the reviews are fake.

Shit looks like asset flip trash because it's low effort knock ups to give the arg clout. Probably been in the mind of the maker for a long time. Ever heard of the long game. This ain't no small time chancer. This is the big boys playing.

Hold fast me hearties, we have waves of miserable virgins ahead.

I was looking for some information about this CREATEQ Interactive, and didn't found much except for this: http://www.createq.nl/wp/

Does it look like Astrobot? At least partially? And they're based in the Netherlands too, so that can't be a coincidence?
If you find some details about the actual CREATEQ Interactive, please share, but for now this really stinks.

OH. MY. GOD. Guys, really, this can't be a coincidence.

Go and check:

It's fucking Astrobot. No chance there's some other explanation.

So, I'm quoting my previous findings for summary purpose, and I noticed the original image actually hides a couple of hints, and let's compare it with the one shown in their homepage. http://www.createq.nl/wp/

The first thing you'll notice in the top image, aside from the Astrobot-like robot (it looks like a prototype), is the SCAN word. What could it mean? Well, I think it tells you to scan, as in to inspect, the page, and that's what I did in the first place to find the original URL of the bottom image, which has the word "sony" in it.

You'll also notice that the words "Approchez-vous" are well hidden in their homepage image. I'm not familiar with French, but Google translates it into "get closer"... as in some kind of announcement is getting closer? Just saying it.

Too many coincidences here, and remember, my research started with this.

Any ideas? I'm starting to think that there are multiple Silent Hill projects, and Astrobot team (Team Asobi) is the one working on a Silent Hill VR game for PS5, since they are already familiar with the VR. It's also possible they are working on a Siren VR Game instead, since The Haunting: Blood Water Curse strongly hints to the Siren series.

it will reveal a whole lot if you look closely ;)
It sure will reveal a lot. That this is a crazy delusional house of cards.

I just don’t understand the long game of making a fake company and fake apps and a Kickstarter for gods sake for a release of something years and years later at the time you were fired and your project cancelled, with no hope of you actually getting the game back.
it makes no sense.

They stole the Astrobot image and we’re too lazy to change the image name, that’s it and that’s all.
This is a real engineering, marketing and design firm that has done real things.

So App delayed to friday the 25th?

Jump off guys. Its nothing.

About CreateQ. It exists but it has nothing to do with this grifter. Their site is also a little bit more professional.

I stole it from Ree, but will Abandoned join this one?

Never released.

Silent Hill is still coming baby.

This is the Thread, no reason to jump off because no matter how this ends, we'll get our fucking Silent Hill.

I said before SH is likely being announced, and/or MGS stuff as well. Its in the cards for a long time and Konami is riding the hype train now as well.

But this dude, he's unrelated.

It’s a real company with history and a portfolio…look at it! My god. Everything isn’t part of an arg…

I agree that the company does exist, I'm not denying that. I just wanted to know more about it and what it does.

Still I can't believe you actually typed this.

They stole the Astrobot image and we’re too lazy to change the image name, that’s it and that’s all.

I mean, seriously?

But they have no connection to making any games at all, explain why he would hand it off to a company that makes retail software - it makes NO sense. Also, what kinda of legit company uses bitmojis as their way of showing staff lol

^ Because he just happened to use the name Createq interactive to hand off his own projects. 5 readers noticed it before this whole thing imploded.

Dude i'm from Holland. Createq exists. Their owner has a verified linkedin, his employees as well. They exist. They have nothing to do with some asset flip who also conjured up the name.

But sure, Hideo also thought lets just use some random company name with the risk of infringement.

I agree, i don't think anything about them is suspect or fake, its more so why they handed off creative development of their game to a retail software company that has no involvement in gaming.

I've been following this wild ride for days now; it's made for more entertainment than E3 this year, which was very mediocre compared to recent years.

That being said, I really don't know what to think anymore. There are so many bizarre things related to this title. It *is* possible that it is some unknown Indie developer who has gotten himself akin to a frog in cold water that has heated up gradually, so now he's just stuck.

On the other hand, I have questions myself--

Why hasn't Sony, Kojima or Konami said anything as this has continued to amass steam even after their initial "disclaimer"?

Why is Konami pinning, unpinning, talking SH merchandise out of the blue(see what I did there)?

Geoff Keighley's comments about doubting his legitimacy as a developer and that he's "kept him waiting" are too on the nose from the Phantom Pain scenario?

This is one of the wildest rides concerning the supposed resurrection of a series that I've ever seen.

Konami is ofcourse profiting off the situation. They likely had their merch plans around for longer, its not something they come up with within the week. They already looked to bring Castlevania back, its being rated, and reports claim they handed out SH as well. This guy mentions SL and opens the flood gate and Konami is now playing along. But i'm sure they've nothing to do with this guy, as this guy has an actual profile thats full of asset flip, kickstarters, company changes etc. Maybe he's getting funds from the government by faking he's a dev?

I figure Konami is not going to promote this guy, but rather profit off the critical mass generated by the fanbase. I think somehow, they're using each other. BB game studios started to hint at SH when fans started to see the connotations.

roller-coaster-1.gif

The neverending rollecoaster.

The company's CEO claims that the studio's next project will "cause quite a stir" when it is finally announced. One major piece of supporting evidence to this theory is that Silent Hill's composer, Akira Yamaoka, claimed to be working on a second project for Bloober Team besides The Medium.
We’ve been working for more than a year on another gaming project, another horror IP, and we’re doing this with a very famous gaming publisher,” said Piotr Babieno, CEO at Bloober Team. “I can’t tell you who. I can’t tell you what the project is, but I’m pretty sure when people realize we’re working on it, they will be very excited.

Has anybody considered the fact that this group of people could've been contracted to make something that leads *up* to Silent Hill, even if they aren't the developer itself? Like their "game" is going to be PT2.0?

Seriously, who makes an APP for PS for trailers?? That is the most boggling thing to me.

I say this because as far as I recall, *no one*, not one single journalist or insider knew what P.T. was or what it would lead to when it came out.

There's not a lot of money to be made off pure speculation. I can't prove it, but the merch sales are meaningful when there's product to back it, not just theorizing. They've never pushed merch promotions during the countless SH theories in the past. A few dollars here or there shouldn't really be reason to change behavior now. OTOH, if product is being revealed soon, then this is just a matter of starting the promotion early, since it'll be ongoing anyway.

PT actually released, I think it was during a game show. This app won't see the light of day.

Please feel free to bookmark and save this point in the thread so you can come back and tell me the secrets of Astrobot and Createq and Silent Hill VR when you’ve fully cracked the code on the website of an actual functioning company with real employees and a real portfolio.

looks like they do retail displays for companies in big box stores…what could it mean?! Box!!! OMG metal gear has boxes!!
