I hope Sony goes ahead with announcing their next event, PSX next Thursday so that some of y'all see some REAL games. And later in a tweet saying that they are not partners or promoting this G*R*I*F*T and going ahead and plugging the plug off of it, leaving only shitty PC port on Steam...

I wouldn't feel bad for them at all. This could have been over and done with a while ago. All this guy would have had to do is contact Geoff Keighley, which supposedly already happened, and ask him to spread the word that this is definitely not some marketing stunt. He could have provided him any number of things for Geoff to confidently state that this is not what people think it is and help get word around to make sure this gets squashed. He was supposed to provide him with evidence and instead ghosted him. That is, of course, assuming this isn't a stunt and Geoff isn't in on it. Geoff himself being a bit dodgy on this.
Other entities being involved in this could have come out and directly denied anything and yet there is silence. Nothing from Kojima. Nothing from Yoshida. And you've got Konami over here suddenly promoting Silent Hill merch and teasing something is coming. Articles are being written about this. This guy has his company tweet for people to guess the real name of Abandoned that begins with S and ends with L. Whoever this is, they know damn well what they're doing. If it's really just some little indie game this studio deserves to get raked over the coals for it.

Devastate them economically how? If they actually have a hype app for the PS5, they've got an IP that Sony thinks is worth giving that kind of thing to. The game will live or die on its own merits. No one is going to care that it wasn't Kojima, if the product is quality.
That said, there's nothing to worry about, because Kojima is involved. Kahraman = Hideo.

On linkedin he has a connection with the head of Dutch Game Garden, which provides sort of support for starters and indies. Think of working spaces for flexible fees. They also provide masterclasses on development etc. Vlambeer was also tied to this foundation.

Because based on what they've put out over the last 5 years of existence I don't see how any of it has made money.

I personally asked an indie dev friend from Netherlands and told me nobody in their indie scene -which isn't so huge- seems to know Blue Box or their devs. Not sure but I'd bet my friend was in the Dutch Game Garden or at least knows them.
It's very unlikely that a single, unknown guy created all this whole show, many coincidences (like the Netherlands logo in Death Stranding Director's Cut trailer), Geoff involved on it, getting the PS5 stuff from Sony, etc. Maybe it isn't a new Silent Hill game, maybe isn't MGS by Bluepoint, maybe Kojima isn't involved on it, but I think there's something special here, it's for PS5 and Kojima is involved. I'd bet it's a PT like demo for Death Strainding Director's Cut, totally unrelated to the game itself or even a tiny standalone game experience.
If Sony/Kojima/Konami wanted to create a company for PR stunt and to shut it down after a few months it shouldn't be devastating for them, just need to have a guy there.
