What does a random enemy character look like in your world of "next gen"? Can you show us an example? That's what Craig was, just a random enemy that a warrior grabbed a frame of when his helmet fell off and turned it into a meme.

I think hes making the point you can cherry pick from any game and make it look bad/awful. I swear some people are just blind to some of the stuff in games. Whether it's the Medium, Gears 5, TLOU II, Zero Dawn, Forza Horizon 4.

How did they get a PS3 model of Ellie grown up from a platform the game didnt release on?

Take a look at the caps of the Order on B3D of Isabeau or Eivor in Valhalla with different lighting. Photo mode has pretty much made any comparison stupid now anyway. If you want to search a game to make it look unflattering then you will be able to do so. I just wish the bullshit would stop tbh.

Getting back on topic, we all know in-engine does not equal in game, from the many in-engine videos we have seen at past e3's and conferences from all developers. Some times the difference is huge and sometimes not so huge, so time will tell

I dont know how a user with the name "cragarmi" thinks they will be taken seriously when most of there posts about halo are negative.
 
I enjoyed halo from 1-3 and have not enjoyed since, I hope to give this 1 a try on PC, but will probably wait for coop to be added first
 
Wasn't he in the latest campaign preview they showed a couple of days ago?

Same drop pod, same escalating area, but now his face is covered with armor.

Certainly an improvement in detail.

I'm all for freedom of expression but some of these hating shit bags need to stop shitting up every Halo thread. We get it, you don't think it looks next-gen, move on. Personally, I don't either, but if you're a Halo fan, graphics isn't what brought you to the series in the first place. The gameplay is top notch. Sure we all wish it looked even better than it does, but in the end we all still play the originals and want to see the story progress in a good way. The thing that puts Halo above the rest is the lore, story, weapon variations, how physics affect the world, gameplay and the choices you make during combat that you don't really get in many other games.

Not going to lie, most PlayStation games are repetitive, and somewhat slow, third person and samey. The art direction for those games is amazing and look great. But then you have games like Ratchet and Clank which looks great but is very shallow in gameplay. So far, I've been a huge fan of HZD, Spiderman and God of War. I still have yet to play Days Gone, or Ghosts of Tsushima. However, I hate TLOU, Kojima Games, and most JRPG series. But good games can coexist on both platforms and for the most part, I stay out of those threads of games I'm not fond of. You guys don't have to be console warriors and try to change anyone's mind.

Console wars is a lifestyle for some folks. The guy with the Cerny avatar was bitching in another thread about how unfair moderation is, and then I see him popping off in here like some idiot on Twitter. Just a total lack of self-awareness.

I've been down on the game myself and I still have reservations, but I think it's shaping up nicely all things considered.

Almost as if "Craig" wasn't a screenshot taken from a youtube video on a cautiously selected quick and awkward moment, being misleading itself. Bad screenshots like this can be taken from any game, as we have already seen over and over with countless different visually stunning games.

That being said, obviously Xbox twitter account will not do the service of selecting a new bad screenshot just for this "fair" comparison.
