Shift Up CEO: No plans to tone down outfits in Stellar Blade sequel, confirms unlockable outfits will be more 'revealing'

Eve in Stellar Blade is a highly sexualized character, so IGN asked Hyung-tae Kim if he was worried that by using a young-looking character for Blood Rain, Shift Up was running the risk that some people would view Evie in a way the developer doesn't want.

They would have to alter Evie's body considerably with outfits to make her more appealing. Although I guess it's possible if Evie is wearing a Skin Suit like Eve wore in the first game which is supposed to changed it dimensions depending on the outfit (her proportions could vary quite a bit).

I didn't even know who that was but after playing games involving her back 2 back, I noticed. From deathstranding 2 to fucking slop mindseye.
Now she is even in wolverine as a character she doesn't fucking fit the slightest and also the same haircut.

Don't ask mate, this decision haunts me till now. I fucking bought that piece of shit for full price before watching or reading reviews.

This garbage doesn't even have an classic ending. It just ends out of nowhere and you end up playing a bum in diapers. I shit you not.

Sounds like a certain PS2 game, ending included.

Have to make it a habit to watch at least one gameplay video, maybe even videos without cutscenes/spoilers, that way you avoid paying full price for a bargain bin title.

I watched one video of Mindseye and saw a combination of jank moments happen within just 5 minutes. Instant 'maybe at a 1.99 on a bored day' moment for me.

Usually I always do that. But unfortunately I skipped that for this one and it had to happen for the worst game possible lol.

Bro, to me, a perfectly lustful hetero, Eve looks embarrassing while Evie much less so. Eve proportions on much more realistic face and graphics will make Eve's proportions look ridiculous and feel more cartoony.

If yer a black guy with giant booty fetish, OK you gotta do you, but imma tell ya, SB 1 got away with it because the faces skewed more to anime doll faces, like in Dead or Alive before 5. SB2 faces are much more realistic. Way morevtealistic than DoA6+++ or whereever it's at now. It will look damn awkward.

All that Sony and Microsoft have to do is tell Shift Up that they cannot publish their game on PS5 or Series X/S with gooner outfits and Shift Up will start censoring the outfits left and right.

Unless SB2 is Steam exclusive, the outfits will be censored.
 
I don't know how much more proof people need that Sony pushed for the censorship in the first game.
I'm glad they now publish this game themselves, no more restrictions on their artistic vision.

First game not coming to Xbox but announced for S2.
Do you really think the next game is going to xbox?
I don't think so, if they have to censor shit it's going to be playstation only.
