Got a few cool things for Christmas this year. Hope everyone had a good Christmas and your new year is starting on a good foot.
To add to my Fallout collection, I got this Fusion Flea Hot Pink Snow Track made by The Wand Company. I didn't even know this was a thing, I have several of the Wand Fallout die-cast vehicles and this one looks nice with the others. The pink is a nice metallic fluorescent pink that really pops contrasting with the white. Like the other Fallout vehicles it has gimmicks like steerable front skis, the rear tire has been replaced with a snowmobile track that actually functions and a light-up fusion reactor with a removable glowing fusion core. This also came with a postcard, owner's manual and a Hot Pink badge to commemorate the fictional date the Hot Rodder magazine with the Hot Pink livery released, 2067.
Keeping with the pink theme, I got this Kirby Otomatone, which is an electronic instrument that I will probably never get good at playing, but I've had fun trying to play it.
I got the recent Metroid Prime 4 Amiibos. Regardless of people's opinions on the game itself (I have yet to play it) I find the new power suit designs to be among my favorites in the series, specifically the red and black suit. Amiibos are getting stupid pricey, but I do still like them.
I got this Tifa figure, I haven't seen this brand before but it's decent. The feet were welded in place with paint so I had to break them free. It came with multiple hands and two faces I can exchange.
I got a handful of Switch games, Lunar 1&2, River City Rival Showdown and Romancing Saga 2. Looking forward to spending a lot of time with my Switch backlog this year, I've been neglecting the platform despite having so much to play on it.
Finally, I got this little Miyoo portable emulation handheld. My brother had the older version, and it played everything up to PS1 well, this is an updated version of that and should run everything better. Right now, I have an Analogue pocket to handle all portable systems, Neo Geo and arcade platforms like CPS. I'll set this up to handle all home consoles from Atari, Nintendo and Sega. They make a great rainy-day device in the summer when I head up to the lake,
Almost forgot this Kotobukiya Xenoblade X Formula Doll model kit. I missed this during its initial run and somehow managed to miss reprints, but my brother grabbed one for me this time.
