The new Nintendo Cube came out and it has an advertising insert for DS games. I haven't been following the DS religiously, but three of the games on the insert seemed new to me.
1) Super Mario Kart DS - not that this is a surprise. The top creen was the 3D race, the other was the map.
2) Doubutsu Mori+ DS (Animal Crossing DS) - this seemed new. the top was 3D people talking to each other, and the bottom was the pattern-creation screen.
3) New Super Mario Bros - this is NOT Super Mario 64x4. The top screen was a large, 3D Mario (like the size of the screen) plowing through a line of regular-sized mario enemies for 100, 200, 400, 800 etc. points. I don't remember the bottom screen.
So, are these new or what?
