If you can't walk around in the environment in a VR game, in comfort no less - with a pad, it is absolutely redundant to me.

I've played Arkham. Nothing comes close to RE7.

For VR, there exists a whole universe of gaming possibilities that don't need to rely on traditional walking and running. I've only seen a tiny glimmer of it, but it's enough to spark the imagination for what I could be playing (or creating) tomorrow.
