I got my Xbox 360 from Costco at launch, think I may have got my Xbox from there too. It's not a bad price if you don't mind the pack in game. Have to be a member there don't you? I know you have to have a Costco card to shop there. For people who are members it might be the easier place to get a console if you haven't pre-ordered yet.

I worked there for 8 years back in college and high school. They're a store much like Sam's Club or Costco, but primarily located in the northeast and along the eastern coast. Membership required, though you can pay a non-member surcharge, which last I checked was 5%.

I just wouldn't bank on trying to walk into one of the stores and being able to grab one. Back when Xbox360 and PS3 released, we got maybe 10 of each in stock. No in-store pre-orders available, and as employees we were allowed to buy whatever we wanted before the store officially opened. I'm actually quite surprised they're taking pre-orders online.

$499 for the PS4, 2 DS4's and Killzone game = roughly a $20 savings off buying each component separately.

The non-membership price added roughly $25 to the order, so it's not quite worth it for non-members.
