I can tell you with utmost certainty that Sony and Microsoft wouldn't be pushing for Move and Natal now were it not for Wii's huge success. We would get some Live Vision and PS Eye games, but nothing of this scale.

Frankly, it boggles the mind that there are people who can not see that.

I fully agree that Sony and MS's future moves are based upon what Nintendo did with the Wii. It is plainly obvious that is the case.:lol

Who knows what they would be doing if not for the Wii. Maybe since they were not trying to replicate the success of the Wii, they might have pushed 3D tech even further. Both MS and Sony have already played with Motion Tech, so its possible we would have ended up in some form of Wii-esk future.

Not really something we can debate about with any amount of certainty. The Wii came out, things changed and now the industry moves along.

Jetsons wasn't that big in the UK, at least - our biggest HB import was probably Flintstones, Scooby and Yogi being the *big* names - although I was alwasy a big Dastardly and Muttley fan. It *was* on, though, definitely.
