A quick question. Right now, my Wii is connected via shitty composite (yellow plug) and a pinnacle pctv rave tv card. Since I bought a new nice looking monitor, which supports composite, s-video, DVI and VGA, I'd like to connect the console directly to the monitor, so I can play without turning the computer on. I already tried the composite connection, which looks - as expected - quite bad. Color reproduction is very good, but the image stability and jaggies everywhere are so ugly...
As I can't connect it via component and can't use DScaler as with the tvcard, I was thinking about buying the component cables, a component to s-video cable, and connect that to the monitor. s-video still isn't great but at least it looks better than composite. In the end, is there a significant advantage over using s-video via the monitor, VS using composite + tweaking software via the PC?
Thanks.
