Why does every third poster in this thread sound like Mr. Burns? Crunch sucks. It can go on for months, has people working 12-14 hour days, often 6 days a week, sometimes 7 but they'll be allowed to go home "early" at 6 on Saturday or something. Being down on that type of grind is not entitlement, it destroys families. People have babies they miss growing up so that a reviewer doesn't dock half a point for not having enough side quests.

No, Poles are the majority of develpers, - 78% Rest comes mainly from Great Britain, US and Canada, generally there are people from 32 countries empoyed by CD Projekt. And people from abroad are even more used to crunch than Poles e.g. former Rockstar employes.

What's this "crunch" bollocks? It's nothing new, any job with deadlines or an "end" will see you working longer hours when needs be. See the film industry, writers, construction, police, doctors, soldiers, etc etc. If you don't like it don't do it, go stack shelves and be a nobody or something.

As part of the software development industry, I can tell you thats not the problem. They will pay you. Indeed, in some countries, you get juicy extra compensations for that. 100% this is what's happening and to be honest what should be happening as well. It all makes sense, Why there is no footage of the console versions yet etc.

They'd make an absolute killing having this as a launch title for PS5 for instance.

I'm kind of surprised though as the new release date would eliminate a lot of double dippers. I'll be getting a Series X day 1 so I can wait 2 months from September to play the game. Had it stuck to it's original date in April I'm sure I would have bought it at launch and then again with the new console.
