No games have a chance on UWP even if they are amazing ports. UWP is broken as is, those evil Nvidia hard crashes happen on ROTR also, not just Quantum Break, can't believe it hasn't been fixed.

no. amd has been outperforming nvidia in general. not by a margin as large as this, but amd has been the clear performance leader in pretty much every big game

What really stings is that some of these issues could be addressed by the community right now if not for the limitations of the Universal Windows Platform.

When they drop down to Xbox One settings the 390's big advantage is then limited by the 50hz limit. AMD users could be enjoying the game at double the frame rate with correct frame pacing if this was just a non UWP game.

I can see this game in one or two years appearing on Steam, fixed. Regardless of UWP, seems obvious Remedy didn't get enough time. I'd like to see Remedy do something before that time though. I won't be checking out until they fix it.

I'd love Phil Spencer and Remedy to see this video
