Do you need a 4K HDMI cable for a 4K Blu-ray Player?

As the title states, do you need a special 4K HDMI cable for a 4K Blu-ray Player or will it work fine with a regular HDMI cable? Thanks for the help, guys.

I believe the high speed cables are required for the new bandwidth requirements for the hdmi spec

It won’t break your signal, but you won’t be using it to it’s full potential if you used a lower bandwidth cable (some things you probably won’t notice the difference, but other features will not work correctly, or will change things like your colour level to ‘fit’ the cables capacity)

Worth a little digging and investigating, before you purchase

I've used some old shitty cheap cables and they have worked fine for 4K up to 60 fps. It also depends on the length of the cable. Try to use short cables if you can.
