After seeing all the footage that Sony has showed, and all the footage that Microsoft has showed... the Wii kinda seems last-gen and dated. I mean it will be hard for me to play some PS3/360 games and then go to 480p games.

This is not a bash to Wii, but more or less a thread to share thoughts about the next-gen consoles.

No, the Wii fills its own specific niche. That is why it went a different route.
