This game drops in 2 days but you wouldn't know it. Barely seen any promo for it since Gamescom.

They've been saying a lot of the right things, fans clearly want a game that is more 1 than 2.

It's doing well on Steam so people are clearly interested. Just got a weird feeling about it right now.

DL2 was hot garbage at release, maybe it still is. I'm not sure, as I opted out after about 10 hours. I know they have updated the game many times since, but I'm just no longer interested in the franchise.

Yeah, same here, I loved DL1 and replayed it many times, hated a lot about DL2 (including the city map) and struggled to finish it. I will need a lot of convincing to take interest in Techland's next Dying Light game, especially since Dead Island 2 filled in the gap in the meantime and I'm looking forward to DI3.

DL2's biggest problem was that nighttime just wasn't scary, which is a massive part of the gameplay loop. Apparently they've focused on improving that with this one.

The setting is interesting too, the town reminds me of 1 but you have a forest to explore too. If it reviews well I'm sold.
