Just play my friend, they are amazing. Yes you are kinda right, they recently combined them together into a thing called Hitman: World of Assassination, you buy that and you get it all.

My advice is to play all the tutorial levels and try to do most of the content and then when you hit the first proper level - Paris - do one or two "stories" with the full guidance on and then after that go into settings and turn the guidance to minimum and set challenges to the setting where it doesnt tell you how to do it, just gives you a picture and name of the challenge.

Not sure this would be your thing (maybe you prefer to go it alone in games) but send me a PM if you have a question about a mechanic or a potential idea/method thats not working for you and I'll give you clues as to how to get it done or an alternative that will work that won't spoil much. I've played the first two games for over 1200 hours in total so I know a few things.

I'll give you clues that make things make more sense or give you ideas but I wont tell you all the secrets/shortcuts unless you ask for them. For example you can use tools on things to make them dangerous or press buttons to activate machines but thats not the only way to do things and once you know the other way then it opens up a ton of possibilities.

Holy shit I'm so excited for you mate, I wish I could go back and experience it all again. Are you playing on PC or console? I'd be up for spectating you while you play, I have a PS5 so can watch direct there or Twitch for Xbox and PC (I'm guessing would be the easiest way).

LOVE hitman reboot all three episodes. great graphics with RT on PC, and large, open maps with tons of different routes to targets. All three games are great and will give a ton of content and replayability.

If you like stealth games Hitman is one of the OGs.

Its different in that you're trying to blend in via disguises rather than just sneaking in shadows. Gameplay on the new trilogy is vastly improved over Hitman 2. The levels are much larger and more complex with a dozen ways to eliminate your target. Then there are challenges in each level, or player created challenges. Elusive targets which are there for a limited time and you have one chance to kill them and escape. Those are my favorite.

Tons more weapons and devices, some really fun sandbox type stuff going on in the games where you can trigger events that can lead into creative assassinations. I've been a fan since the original so I'm clearly biased, but I personally think they're some of the best and most fun stealth games around.

And yes, if you buy 3, 1 and 2 are included in the price now so you're getting a TON of content thats all very re playable.

Some of the greatest level and gameplay system design ever. Some maps are genuinely otherworldly in terms of how damn good they are.

This can't be understated OP, when I realised how intricately timed all the routes of not just the main characters but also so many individual NPCs and guards - there are 299 real NPCs with full AI in each mission, then up to 1700 "fake NPCs" with basic AI, like the crowds of people in Paris or Miami, at least a 100 in each mission have specifically timed routes that affect how you play - were timed perfectly so if you spam skip the intro and run to locations they will be in just the right spot for you to do things/set things up my mind was blown.

Make sure you turn off the guidance after you get to grips with it though, because the routes/NPCs it tells you to go by/knock out to get disguises aren't the only ones and its more fun to make your own way in/disguises.

Here is a great tip: If you find the NPCs aren't in the correct position for you to complete a route then spam skip the intro because the world timer starts from the second the game fades in from black, so if you skip the intro quicker you can get places before things would happen if you watch a few seconds of the intro. Likewise you could let it run longer to make the NPCs be further along if you're into speedrunning the escalations.

One of the best immersive sim ever made. The sheer amount of details, the huge amount of how you can deal with targets, the variety of levels and their designs, the incredible replayability, and so on and so forth is almost unmatched. If this game had Jesper Kyd as the audio composer and better writers with more twists and turns, this could've been top 5 games of all time. It's still top 20 tho.

Amazing trilogy, I'm a big fan of the Hitman franchise and this World of Assassination trilogy is the best Hitman content.
The quality of levels varies, some are superb and some others are just good enough.
In the new games you have the option to follow a story route(multiple choices), its pretty cool to do so, but if you want to do things at your own terms then you can do that too, generally for a first playthrough i recommend following the story routes, since they are fun and flesh out the levels even better. For example the one in the England level was really good.

Personally I'd put this at number one on my all time list, and I do like the story. Jesper Kyd is a huge loss though - the new music is really forgettable. Listen to this one by Jesper (kicks in about 30 seconds). He's got those mad demoscene music chops. There's nothing anywhere in the new games that compares to this.

Up there as the best stealth games we've gotten this gen with MGSV and Dishonored 2. Solid choices for top spot, even.

As a trilogy, they're definitely the most cohesive and consistent in great quality we've had this gen.

Very very very impressive. Loved the old series. But from a readability and complexity and design level, its really really good.

I only wish Jesper Kyd did the soundtrack.

- Imersion is off the charts
- maps are fantastic and endless possibilities
- gameplay loop is amazing
- graphics are amazing

I haven't played a game I felt this immerse iin a LONG time. Hitman 2 in particular is the cream of the crop.

Good fun and worth a play, but nowhere near as good as the original games, so don't expect that.

Absolution excluded obviously.

Every Hitman game sans Absolution is an absolute gem.
The new trilogy is amazing and on par with the already superb quadrilogy.

Just started playing thanks to gamepass (I had it on other libraries for a while but for some reason never gave it a chance). It's pretty good and entertaining. Kind of like a puzzle action game that rewards observation and creativity.

While it's possible to go blasting all around, you would miss how greatly designed and refined these games are.

I also enjoy the sniper missions.

So if it wasn't enough with what others have said: here is one more recommendation

Almost infinite amount of content now with all 3 games + that freelancer mode they just released. I bought the trilogy on steam again to show support. Just excellent work.

Depends on what kind of gamer you are. If you like slow and methodic stuff you might end up really liking. I prefer constant momentum and action, so I get bored of it real fast.
