Is the Saints Row remake genuinely terrible or is it, instead, a reasonably fun 15 hour distraction that was overly criticised for the sake of it?

It's £26 on PS5 and I'm thinking of picking it up.

It's $1.50 through Humble right now with Nioh 2 and another good game. Why buy on PS?

I feel like 99 times out of 100, when the gamer mob hive mind says a game is terrible, I'm the one thinking, "Oh c'mon, it's not the best game ever but it's not that bad." Watch Dogs 1 is a good example.

WD1 is a masterpiece compared to SR.

The reboot is trash. 1 idk as it was xbox exclusive. 2 is good. 3 is amazing. 4 is meh. Gat out of hell is bad.

It's really bad and it's been free ok like all platforms or in bundles.

Only liked the original. The shtick got old for me before I was even halfway done with 2. Gameplay didn't make up for it. Would rather just play GTA. But a lot of people seem to enjoy it. I think the way the new one was rated is how they all should have been rated. So tired of that brand of comedy.
