Most Influencial/Popular/Inovative/Original/Important Game Designers

shpankey

not an idiot
You forgot Jason Jones. He's the lead programmer for Bungie and is the main reason Bungie games all rock. He also created the Myth series and is a person I look up to on many levels. I believe him to be the greatest game designer in the history of games and is also the most underrated, in this world where kids worship all the wrong game designers for all the wrong reasons.

A no-brainer.

Even a non fanboy has to admit that Miyamoto is the most important and original game designer of all time.

Itagaki needs to be on that list, Kojima himself tried to get Itagaki to make ZOE2!

Graeme Devine and Rob Landeros made The 7th Guest/11th Hour while at their own production studio, Trilobyte. They were both published by Virgin.

(Yeah, being pretty anal.)
