The last thing Sam expected during his final summer before college was to end up staying at Michael's house, his mom's ex-boyfriend. A man he hadn't seen in over ten years and didn't have the fondest memories of. What was meant to be a short stay quickly becomes something far more complicated, when old resentment meets unexpected curiosity.

As Sam meets new people and struggles with unfamiliar thoughts, one thing becomes clear: this trip isn't just about getting by, it's about discovering what he really desires.

It does look like they have one black character - but this is mainly white dude bros. Not an ugly female in sight. No girl bosses. No trans gender. No pronouns.
