Tell me, is Kats Delicatessen actually good or is it simply a tourist trap? I mean their prices are in the range of Disneyland and yet the place is packed according to the videos I watch.

I’m not NY but I‘d say it’s a bit of both? It was rammed when I was there but you got your food pretty quickly. Food tastes good and portions are decent. There was a camera crew there that films you if you want to orgasm at that seat. Don’t know if they’re always there though.
Are there better sandwiches, omelettes and soups around? Probably. But I didn’t feel ripped off going there.

Oda house bro. https://odahouse.com/. Oda house is one of the few places to try proper Georgian food in the US. The Manhattan restaurant is a little small so book a table. I've not been to the Brooklyn one.

It's kind of cliche I guess, but if Gordon Ramsay's fish and chips place is still around in Times Square it's a great place to grab a cheap but well cooked meal.
I haven't been to NYC in years so I don't know if it's still around. But seriously it's a good place to eat for around $12 a head.

You want some great seafood go down to the Lobster Pound in Red Hook, my old neighborhood. There's some good bars down there too, especially Sunny's. That place has been around forever

We’ve been living here for a few years now up in the Upper East Side. In the event you come up to the museums, here’s our list from our visitor’s guide. Not all “the best list” places but a local’s POV on what’s actually worth it.
