Because sports games dont sell well on PC. Thats why they wont even put the resources into porting the next gen versions.

That's odd. Having a console like experience from your PC is easier than ever. Controller support, cloud gaming, Steam Link and Nvidia Shield.

Honestly go and check the amount of user reviews the newest Madden, and even Fifa, has on Steam.
PES does 'ok'. the NBA2K games actually sell decent, even though they have constant 'negative' user reviews because of the ridiculous MTX in those games.
Overall though, sports games on PC sell considerably less than on console.
