As long as they keep the tone of season 1 and enhance it, I think it should do well.

My main worry is with the modern day season release method. It might take a full decade to get to certain arcs and some actors will be too old by then.

The optimal path should be to just sign multiple seasons in the future so that they can be filmed back to back, but streaming services don't want to take risks that much anymore.

First season was fine, and I'll definitely watch it, but I cant shake the feeling that this could have been handled so much better.

Actors are fine, but I dunno if its the way its shot, it looks so ... "cosplay-y". No chemistry between the straw hats.

As a One Piece fan and I mean the manga, I wish they went this direction with the female characters in the Netflix Live Action Adaptation. The show is still good but I wonder if they are gonna to censor someone like Boa Hancock when she's introduced in the show. And yes fanservice should have been part of that show from the beginning. Since it's Netflix, I expect them to screw over Oda eventually
