I hope Elon come to the rescue and bump up the bid a couple dollars more. His net worth just jumped near $700 billion, he should have no problem getting $20-$30 billion loan from banks

I really DO NOT want Netflix to own WB

Read again man, keyword here is "CHILDREN", like this shitshow that was meme'd to oblivion

I'm sorry I paid attention at school, I immediately see my BS radar going off:

1. What is a "kid's show"?
2. What is "LGBTQ" content?

Example: If I have a teen series (so kids) that has a family of two dads or moms - is this "LGBTQ content"? Probably. Should we be outraged?

But two hot chicks making out after a few glasses of wine isn't gay/lesbian, it's TOTALLY NORMAL!

It's two bull dykes scissoring that's gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy :P

I trust Paramount so much more than Netflix..
once Stranger Things is done.. I'm canceling and I don't see myself coming back any time soon.

Paramount make better TV shows even if its all Boomer power fantasy soap opera stuff.

Land Man alone is better than anything on Netflix.
Paramount certainly has a more narrow focus for a lot of their material than Netflix. EVERYTHING on Netflix feels like it was run through the same checklist for maximum theoretical appeal, while Paramount is perfectly happy to target shows to a locked in demographic that ensures profitability. I don't want HBO to have to play by the same rules as the rest of netflix originals when coming up with a show. HBO was very cool with getting 5-10 million people hooked, Netflix swings for 100 million every time they come up to bat and their product is a diluted mess for it.

If 40% is even close to true, than it is certainly overrepresented. Of course that should be cause of concern. When the unusual is portrayed as the norm, even how things/you should be, than it is easily close to brain washing of kids/teens.
Content nowadays is very fucked up anyway. Ever since maybe the era around Two and half man or Sex and the city, which are afaik not really into alphabet stuff, but portraying promiscuity very favorable. Both sex and gender are out of control in entertainment and divorce rates are showing the result. Too many trying to live up to those loose standards set by TV. Maybe it isn't even cause and also an effect where society is moving, but Janet's Nipplegate was a scandal for some reason but in sum the average TV show is probably much more harmful than one bare nipple ever could be. I guess I would be in favor of limiting stuff like that for a network and streaming service. Not overrepresent abnormal stuff and limit the male and female sluts.

You understand you are born gay or lesbian? The argument you put - always "promoting" homosexuality - is always just a front for people thinking if you expose people enough to content you will turn them gay.

You understand that is impossible? No amount of me watching Troy makes me want to fuck Brad Pitt, and that is peak male physique.
