lol, there's no stress in Animal Crossing, unless you manufacture the stress yourself?I actually had a question about that. His post made me actively want to play animal crossing lmfao. I wanted a little stress.
Yeah, that's up my alley. Comfortable but with a huge amount of tasks I can prioritize/try to streamline sounds fun. Thanks again dudelol, there's no stress in Animal Crossing, unless you manufacture the stress yourself?
I get overwhelmed and stressed with Pokopia.
There is SO much to do, but they do give you some direction.
So the game sold 2.2 million units in the opening week-end, almost half of that in Japan alone.

Nintendoomed at its finest.

Are you getting what you wanted out of it?
This game definitely needs a lot of quality of life improvements! I'm playing 30 minutes a day because of it.10 hours into the game, it's quite good. I would hover around an 8.5.
It's massive and does a lot of things well. It's lacking some fun mini-game mechanics in my opinion (or maybe they will arrive later?)
Some things are really bothering me tho:
1. The map doesn't show my storage boxes location. I swear to god i can not find the first storage box I've built and i've spent an hour looking for it.
2. You can not zoom into the map. All the information is just crumbled into one tiny mess.
3. You can not pinpoint specific locations you want to travel to, it's quite hard sometimes to find my way around levels.
4. Sometimes i place a construction site, fill the items, call in the Pokémons to build, only to have a message pop up saying "there's no space to build here". Why wouldn't it tell me that before ?
I hope they add some of these quality of life's improvements soon !
Unfortunately, I haven't really figured out how to play coop, actually.Im enjoying animal crossing with my gf. How is the local coop in this? Is it as shit as in animal crossing? It cant be worse really but is it similar or better?
I can relate to this. Like isnt nintendo aimed at children? Meanwhile a 35 year old that has played tons of games all it's life had to google how to play coop in animal crossing.Unfortunately, I haven't really figured out how to play coop, actually.
Oh yeah, for sure. I tried playing Animal Crossing with my wife a few times and it was annoying enough to where I was like "naaah"I can relate to this. Like isnt nintendo aimed at children? Meanwhile a 35 year old that has played tons of games all it's life had to google how to play coop in animal crossing.
Start the game, create your island, close the game, change profile, open the game solo with saod profile, move to same island. Now you can play together.
Even then i had to google it again. I mean it's fine to have your menus be thematic like the call resident being the invite option, but at first glance grabbing your game phone to call someone sounds like some sort of chat feature, or something for online coop. Not like the join local game option.
Welcome to the same boat club! This game has been consuming my time like crazy.
No one told me it was a stand type game.

EDIT:DarkShadowXI for some reason it's not letting me quote you. I'm in the same boat. I know I'll play the living hell out of it this month but probably not so much next month. I'm tearing through and I'm in the 4th habitat right now. All said and done, I think I'll get around 60-70 hours out of it, but I doubt I'll come back to it unless theres an xpac or combat update. It was definitely worth it.
ThisThis has reignited my almost completely dead interest in Pokemon and I ordered Legends Arceus today due to it being on sale.
I "beat" the game. I didn't realize there was going to be an ending with credits and all.
Carry on after the credits with a neat little final discovery. Is that after the credits? Back to title screen and forced to start a new game, or can you carry on with your world?
I just buy the bag upgradesThis is great! I was going to skip it because I prefer to buy Nintendo games on cartridge, and this being a key card, etc, but it's the first game that makes me glad I got a Switch 2.
Minor criticisms:
1. It's a big miss not to have Animal Crossing-style multiplayer in this.
2. The limited inventory is annoying. I have storage boxes full of crap, and have to check them all to see if I have a particular resource. When I collect a resource it should be added to an infinite crafting pool, not stored as if it was a physical thing (which makes no sense anyway - one item takes as much space as 99 of them).
The best solution I've found to the limited inventory space is to have only one crafting station in each area, and surround it with large storage boxes, which you fill with all your crap. Anything in the boxes is available at that workbench, as long as they're touching it.I just buy the bag upgradeswould be cool if it was infinite tho0
