I decided to make this into a separate thread thanks to this post:

I hate that they turn every anime into a fighting game. Really wish they would take these properties and try to make actually good games.

Edit: To make the thread more clear, certain video games can count if they have had a complimentary anime show such as my two honorary mentions below, .Hack(mentioned below), and Valkyria Chronicles(mentioned below). Try to avoid just 'game with anime style but no anime show'.

New and old titles are encouraged. Here are some suggestions...

I left this out because I wasn't quite sure if it counted or not. The exploration aspect is the only thing that separates Kakarot from Xenoverse at first glance.

Based on an existing anime property(or at least has an anime attached to it like Scarlet Nexus/Code Vein), but it seems that the thread has already chosen 'anime style' and we're going off the rails.

Edit: Unless I am mistaken and there is a secret Xenoblade anime that exists.

Gundam UC on the PS3 was made by From Software and is amazing:



There are also many other cool Gundam games, like Zeonic Front on the ps2, the Generation series, Breaker and a lot more.

The game came first but there is anime based on VC.

Just play the game and ignore the anime. its better experience.

Hopefully one day we can get Valkyria Chronicles 2 and 3 ported to other systems. I would like to see the 'New Era, New Energy' SEGA do this, since they seem to be doing what fans want now.

I never see the anime, but ive played all of their games, and the game is solid 13/10 for me.
