Remember Brawl Brothers?

Here's a video. Do you remember...

-lighting people on fire with the cop's lighter? It was a secret move, kinda. I remember knowing how to do it but I wouldn't tell anyone else.
-fighting your brainwashed allies? Like Wendy in the wrestling ring and Kazan in the rotating spike room?
-throwing guys off the top of the buildings?
-destroying that helicopter with your fists?
-falling 500 feet straight down off the exploding bridge?
-doing a taunt everytime you cleared a screen?
-the 60's Batman SMASHES and SPAKS?
-the flamboyant music?
-those weirdos in the little battle suits?
-''ANGRY MODE'', and how BRUTAL your throws were when you were Angry? It was mad vicious
-slamming guys face first onto the mines in the jungle level?
-fighting on top of that giant jet plane fortress?
-the fruitcake last boss and his weird nunchuks?
-Kazan's double jump?
-Kazan's special ninjitsu attack that killed everyone on either side of him?
-Kazan's super speedy dash and sliding kick?
-Kazan throwing guys 30 feet? (it's in the video!)
-trying to pick Kazan on the selection screen before your friends could?
-the non-sensical elevator maze?
-the non-sensical sewer maze?
-the electric floors?
-the rifle that you could steal from the soldiers and shoot your partner with?

Do you remember Brawl Brothers? Glorious violent camp, part of the Rushing Beat trilogy, preceded by the awful Rival Turf and proceeded by the good Peacekeepers.

One thing I never like is reducing your life by using your specials.

In Brawl Brothers, your life heals a few seconds after doing the special move, as long as you don't get hit.

Brawl Brothers did everything right. It was the greatest something of all time.

I was reminded of this game while browsing the thread about 2d side scrollers. I still have my copy which reminds me that I have yet to beat this game and I've had it since 1993.
