RIP Legend.

We're losing the most charismatic actors. Only Clint is left.
Arnie and Sly as well. Real, true, MOVIE STARS. (I guess you can put DeNiro and Pacino in there).

Then there will just be Tom Cruise and I'm very curious to see where his later career goes once he can't pull off the action lead. Transition to the office bound team leader. Start playing grandpa roles? Pop up in fun cameos? Redefine himself as a comedic legend?

Nicholson? Ford? Robert Duvall, Morgan Freeman, Dustin Hoffman, Christopher Lloyd, Lance Henriksen...Those too will sting hard.

Yeah, that will be a big one.

Me and a friend of mine were talking about this recently. He said it's no big deal as he has a son that looks like him.
Sure, he looks like his dad, but has absolutely fuck all charisma or screen presence like Clint. Not even a little bit.

Actors like Redford, Newman, Nicolson, and Clint are not replaceable.

Yeah, most of this "second wave" (maybe third for some of them) of nepo babies in hollywood are just pale shadows of their parents.

Patrick Schwarzeneggar, Wyatt Russel, Jaden Smith (snort), Eastwood, Maya Hawke, Thandie Newton's girl....they ain't cutting the mustard.

Andie McDowells kid, she's got chops though, so some of them could have made it on their own (her willingness to get naked I'm sure would have helped). But maybe over time the rest will elevate, but none of them can command attention on screen. For the guys, it's really hard for younger guys to impart that grit and toughness for some reason. Hopefully there are a bunch of vets that get their chance to take back a lot of those roles. Brandon Sklenar from 1923 has it though.

He was a class act. I fear what we are left with.. ah, well. By the time all The Greats pass on, Hollywood will be on life support, if it isn't already.
I will miss him and his acting. Rest in Peace.

He will go back too serious drama if there is any justice.
