This is very good news. It's unlikely Ubi would push this series as a random one-off thing. I'd expect another Splinter Cell game sometime in the reasonably near future.

I think the last valid rumors were that Ubisoft is working on a Splinter Cell remake. They were also working on a new Splinter Cell but that got cancelled.

Yea, not watching it. Tried watching Blood Dragon and idk why they feel the need to make every character gay. Totally unnecessary and i'm sure they'll do the same here. Why make something that caters to 7% of the population instead of your fan base..

That animation looks horrible. It's Netflix.

Let me be a spy again, Ubi! And let's keep it as 2000s Sam, not some blue haired dolphin man who talks about his feelings. I want him dead inside, and his enemies dead outside.

No Michael Ironside is a big shame, however Liev doesn't sound that bad. But most of all Sam Fisher is still a guy. ;)

Tell that to Bethesda :D

edit: From the WRITER of John Wick

WTF John killed the entire first movie because... they killed his dog!
Absolute Cinema script! 🤌

Doesn't make it a whole lot better but we should at least see the ENTIRE poster.

The animation style doesn't feel right for Splinter Cell, a little more unique aesthetic and a grittier color palette would have been nice. Plot seems pretty 'meh' as well, so it will stand or fall on the strength of the infiltration scenes and the combat. It already has that "hold the incoming strike in slo-motion for a long pause, then speed through the impact" style that is oddly displeasing for some reason. Guess I've been spoiled by the more fluid fight choreography and animation from other sources lately,

Watched a couple episodes, it's alright so far, seems the higher level plot will be about the CEO's ulterior motives; sam needs to kick some more ass.

It was alright, but I don't understand the point of the ending; I guess bad shit happens and then it just resolves itself? seems season 2 will then just be about something new.
