His voice is annoying to the point that it's harrowing to me, but it's all opinions. He seems like a nice guy on here, but there's nothing wrong with constructive criticism, and how you present yourself on videos released to the public is certainly subject to such criticism often, and rightfully so. It's on the content creator as to whether they choose to heed it, potentially alienating loyal followers while opening up the possibility of an expanded demographic, or ignore it, potentially gaining increased respect and loyalty amongst fans and potentially limiting ther potential demographical size. It's all valid, everything works, it just works differently, but the guy is and will be successful regardless because he's good at his job. That being said, a public video is, again, going to be subject to criticism in terms of presentation, and cadence of speech is part of that. No one here criticizing the guy's voice is saying anything against his content or his followers, we are merely saying he's tough to listen to, and considering how many people share the opinion it's obviously quite valid. I don't see why some people get so touchey about the opinion being espoused when it's clearly under the umbrella of completely bog standard, base line criticism and review. It's like getting mad at someone commenting that a restaurant has bland decor....it doesn't mean the main product on offer is undesirable or less than quality, but it is relevant as some people are not going to want to eat at a drab restaurant. Simple concept yeah? Then why is it so hard to grok why someone would not want to listen to a voice they find grating?
