The grip on the "mouse" doesn't look too bad. But OMG, the claw positioning on the other stick to use the side buttons. That looks so much worse than using the stick and dpad on a PSP.
An on the go option is really nice to have in addition to, hopefully, being able to either just use a regular mouse or maybe even have a proper mouse done by Nintendo. More options, even MORE better!
the only reason you needed that stylus nonsense in Kid Icarus in the first place, was because Nintendo didn't include these anymore for some dumb reason:
shooters played really great with that thumb strap.
basically mouse precision on a handheld, and made the DS a way better system to play shooters than the PSP.
Rly? Do you not see the why PC is the most popular competitive gaming platform? There are people that cannot play shooters on controllers because they just can't, I couldn't before and had to learn because I didn't want to leave couch gaming on my PC lol

There's still going to be people out there claiming it's an innovation in mouse controls and there's a good chance confused tech companies will quickly put out similar butter stick mice.
... heh, also third party drivers to use them on PC.
This mouse function is going to be a big part of that game they where play testing, i suspect they're going to show it at the direct to sell us in the new feature.
I can say I've never played a game with a mouse or keyboard in my old age to much going on and a controller is just easier lol
I guess I'm about to be converted or just stay with controller as long as there's a choice in the games.
hopefully it's fun and no joycons are harmed
Also hasn't the legion go got this kinda setup how well does it work on that for gaming .
i don't suspect it will be much different to switch it's s just going to take time to get used to the ergonomic of the joycon as apposed to a normal mouse.
maybe Nintendo will also have there own traditional style mouse or third party will bring their own out.
Mouse with haptic feedback will probably be cool in Metroid prime shooting your cannon and missiles.
