Oh man if you haven't played the first one, thats basically exactly what it is.

It Chaos Gate: Daemonhunters. You play as the Grey Knights. Its awesome.

Probably dirt cheap right now and worth it if thats your style of game.

Warhammer only has to worry if it breaches the normie audience. Current Warhammer games are made by nerds for nerds. We're eating really really good.

Hmmm Id probably go ahead and play it since the sequel Im assuming is still a long way out.

If you like Warhammer and XCOM though, Id go for it.

Its a great game. Its only $5 on Steam right now too.

And its only a couple years old, its not dated or anything.

Absolutely worth playing the first one. It's 40k XCOM but your characters are already superhuman to start with. So it's often less "can my guy survive this turn" and more "how many horrific monsters can I take out at once?"

Since we aren't getting XCOM 3, we'll have to do with this, and the new Star Wars game.
