I don't interact with Final Fantasy fans but it seems like these guys have a lot of issues. I like most of the Final Fantasy games and I'm a huge fan of the series. But, I'm very critical of them and I would absolutely not design XVI the way it is. That being said, I think the game is good, just not what a lot of us wanted. I wonder if it's runaway hyperbole...

I haven't played FF XVI yet, but I think the fanbase are hoping that if they make enough of a stink (by constantly spouting hyperbole) Square Enix will make the next game turn-based.
Then again, seems like the fan base for most series (halo, gears, silent hill, etc.) make a big freaking deal if any of the sequels deviate from the original games and make a big fuss about how the game should be made.
Light No Fire looked so amazing, but I haven't heard anything about it for a very long time. Judas might be awesome, but its going to be a toss up until release.
So I'm going to say Deadlock, even though its multi-player only. It's already a banger in closed beta. Everything they add from here is pushing it up from a 9/10, constant balance changes notwithstanding.
