Hard to believe it was less than ten years ago that I was so starved for new 2D side-scrollers, I seriously considered paying $30 for bloody Alien Hominid on PS2.

Say what you will about the state of the industry, you will never convince me there has ever been a better time to be a guy who plays video games.

I think cause video games have finally made that leap to general entertainment and not just nerd stuff. Look at most of you guys on here for example, not just high school kids who are playing unknown games, you're husbands and fathers playing video games with Kevin Spacey as the main bad guy.

i LOVED the multiplayer. some of the best i played last gen. i doubt it has much of a community left. it also has a pretty decent "horde" mode that if you can convince a few friends to pick up should provide you with a decent amount of fun. the campaign was okay.

Far Cry Classics seems like a good pick. Already got Blood Dragon. I am thinking about Skydrift and Ghost Recon.

I think I have seen the SR4 Season Pass on sale a few times, is it really worth it?

Also interested in Ghost Recon, seems like a decent third person shooter so it's not tactical like the previous ones or that's what I got from watching gameplay vids.

Was considering buying Ghost Recon at that price. Then I remember I rented and finished it a year or so back. Okay game, but totally unremarkable - and as you can see not very memorable.

when i saw that gtav was knocked down to only 29.99, i figured a good sale was coming. this isn't the worst sale they've done, but yeah, they missed an opporunity for a mind-fucking blowout.

Ran into an...odd error yesterday. So, I received a code for Blood of the Werewolf to review, entered it and it accepted it just fine. Now, I had it in my que to download but didn't realize that my HDD space was almost all used up. So, it downloaded the two games in front of it, then when it came time to download BotW it cancelled the download due to no space. So, I deleted some stuff and tried redownloading it. Well, problem is the system refuses to download the game now. No data exists for it, cleared cache, power cycled console...nothing. It just sits at 0% for 30 seconds then the message "Can't download Blood of the Werewolf" blinks across the screen with no error code or any hint of what is wrong.

Now, I can download other stuff just fine as I've tried to do so, and I totally reformatted my drive and it still won't download BotW. Anyone know what gives? Support couldn't help me in the hour I talked with them so seeing if anyone else ever ran into something like this.

I think anyone who wanted something from Rockstar would have it by now?

I wish they would mix it up.

I don't even care if the games are new.
There's loads of stuff they should whack on sale.
