There's a ton of people who play that don't know how to pirate games. They buy it every year without hesitation.

Previous game was the best selling game on PlayStation 3 in a country that loves racing games. I'd say its disappointing. (and a bad investment, Sony buying Evolution)

Ubisoft is really cleaning up Nintendo's leftovers on Wii. Wow.

And Motorstorm PR reaching Silver is suprising.

Nice to see Fallout3 at Silver (PS3) and Gold (360). That's at least 300k in the UK alone, not counting PC sales.

After December NPD it will most likely have a confirmed 1 million plus from the U.S, Japan, and U.K.

Not in line with previous titles certainly, but definitely not a bomba.

Yeah December NPD will confirm that as now we have almost 250-300k in Japan, 375-380k from US, and now UK numbers means that even if had a pathetic month in the US (which I doubt highly) it will be well past 1 mil

Selling similar to Big Brand Academy which is how it was pushed

You have some people here claiming Wii Music is a bomb. It may not have the same sales as the other Wii series titles, but it's gotten decent sales in all 3 major regions.

It's probably not far off in PAL territories. It's anywere between 200k-299k in UK, and I think it's unlikely to have reached 1m in PAL territories, but definite that it has worldwide. It's probably approaching 2m worldwide with North America and 350k in Japan.

I don't think modesty is relevant here. To say the title isn't very front-heavy at all, it's a mega hit. It appears to be on a trajectory of being one of the bigger selling games on Wii (and therefore, this gen as a whole), and selling less than Wii Fit isn't something to complain about.

On that note, Wii Fit will being the best selling game of all time in terms of revenue, which in a business sense is a valid form of measuring.

Should be much more than a million seller if we knew the sales up to January 5th, and then close to or at 2m with all other countries.

GeoW2 attained Platinum status (300k) last month. It's none appearance this month only indicates that during the month of December it didn't cross the next benchmark, which would be Double Platinum (600k).

Well in the US what has it sold, I think about 400k or so (No Dec # yet), in Japan did it even reach 100k?

I would say probably after Jan (with sales from the US and EU) it will be close or past 1mil WW

You realize that these sales are only from the UK? Sales in europe should be somwhere at 600k(given that Uk accounts for ~1/3 of whole europe), so it is already over a million.

If im not mistaken LBP stopped charting in most EU countires. The UK was the only major one that still had the game chart since released.
