Spoiler: Putin will act to be a little bit upset and nothing happens.
And if you really think, Russia will start a war against a NATO country... Think again!
Seeing as the tweet wasn't news then yes, you are correct.Well i mean bigger compared to the China blowing up the submarines tweet
17 seconds....Fuck me. Totally pointless.
I don't really see why Putin looks weak here. What do you mean? All these recent events have left a rather weak impression of Putin. Hope hes not going to decide do anything drastic just to make a point.
"The Russian plane did not cross the Turkish border and operated exclusively against facilities in Syrian territory. We consider the actions of the Turkish Air Force to be an unfriendly act"
I think Russia might move against a defenseless Nato country (Like the Baltics) just to test NATO's resolve..but they wont move against a Nato country like Turkey that could make them bleed.

"Unfriendly" seems like an understatement
Erdogan is a moron, thats it.Russia will start nothing.
But I'm pretty sure Putin will leverage on this incident a lot, trying to get even more power and freedom in this war.
I really don't get the Erdogan game, he gains nothing from this, seems a desperate move from someone that's losing the hold of the situation.
Arming the YPG I definitely see happening now, perhaps even getting Assad to publicly announce his support for the Kurds even.
Arming the PKK? A bit of a stretch, but hey it's Putin right.

The Russian Defence Ministry just released a statement;
"Unfriendly" seems like an understatement

He may be crazy but not that crazysHope you're right. Putin is such a wild card, nothing would surprise me.
The plane wasn't, so don't take their word for it.
We know the plane was shot down in Syria.
Time for the U.S. to say fuck NATO and get out of those shitty alliances that are no longer needed. What you have here is a shit government in Turkey provoking a much larger, more powerful shit government because they know the U.S and U.K are "obligated" to help them/ defend them.
They want to attack Russia fuck em and we should tell them good luck because we aren't helping them.
What they did is ridiculous and what if Russia can prove indeed they didn't violate Turkish airspace? Then what? They would be justified in demolishing those mountains.
Hopefully NATO sees Turkey is a bad actor in this and basically killed any hope of Russia allying with us in this ISIL threat. Dumb fucks.
It's also sad that people hate Russia so much they will find a way to justify this nonsense.
Well, they already invaded Crimea.
So, technically, they had an IOU coming to them anyway.
Putin has warned of serious consequences in Turkey.
It wouldn't surprise me if there was some kind of attack.
The region the Russian jets flew over is known as Turkmen Mountain, it is the territory where the Turkmen minority in Syria live. In the past week Russians have specifically targeted them, prompting Davutoglu to summon Russian ambassador asking to step their strikes. Turkmen have fled into Turkey over the last few days.
He probably means sanctions or something. There's zero chance of Russia attacking Turkey over this.

The hell? LOL hahahaha. Does no major news organization even verify their sources of information?
Wonder when the US gets theirs for invading sovereign Iraq.

jesus fuck at the amount of insane hyperbole and drama being thrown around
US leaving NATO over this?
Russia issuing a direct retaliation?
Russia invading baltic states as a response?
It must suck to be in constant fear every day if this is how you think.
A fucked up situation? Yes. A situation that's hasn't been covered as a potential incident? No.
Everybody needs to take a fucking chiiiiiiiill pill
The fuck do I care about the pictures? Fact remains the Russians are bombing the shit of the mountains right now and the Syrian army is steamrolling, I don't care if the journalists are posting old pics.

Here is the radar map again: http://twitter.com/cahitstorm/status/669186647137886208/photo/1
Turkey shot down a Russian warplane for violating its airspace for 9 seconds, then Turkish backed terrorists in Syria shot the pilots while they were descending in their parachutes. The Turkish claim of 5 minutes of airspace violation is a blatant lie, as is their claim of providing multiple warnings.
So finally a country had balls to fire on Russian jets. Russia seems to continually try to test the borders of many countries, even the US.
Got anything other than your expert opinion for that? Here is the radar map again: http://twitter.com/cahitstorm/status/669186647137886208/photo/1
