But you know, there are other countries which do have their own age of consent. Most of Europe is 14-16+ and have no problem making their mark on the UN list of best countries.

What gives you the right to decide what's civilized in every country? I can guarantee that a 14 year old chick where he is from is more mature than a 20 year old in America.

What's with all the judgmental pricks here? It's alright to be attracted to an underage girl, just (depending on your region) keep those feelings in check or you're going to go to jail. Does not mean you are wrong, it's just the law. I'm sure if they raised the age to 20 - you'd still be attracted to 19 year olds.

The post was '14 and up is good here', followed by some risible crap about how you used to be able to marry very young girls. Of course, those girls typically didn't have a say in the matter, which adds idiocy to the offensiveness of the remark. I thought the post was conspicuously creepy and out of line, even for this thread.

I think this is a touchy subject, and really it's more a case of natural instinct than anything else. Some of the girls in this thread, as old as twenty still look very child like to me, there is an aversion to the idea of them sexually, where as with Justice, she is only seventeen and I think she looks adult and attractive in a sexual manner.

The legal ages are not there to convict people who sleep with a girl a few days under 18, they're there to protect children. Some girls are still children at 18, some are still children at 20 but the line has to be drawn somewhere.

We should go easy on calling each other perverts and pedophiles, although I don't think anyone has been seriously offended in the thread, if you're going in a thread with this title, you know what you're getting.

It's just always been a pet peeve of mine when another judges someones sexual preference or what someone finds attractive in a chick. Difference in sexual attraction keeps us from all liking the same chicks and provides balance.

StuBurns is on the money. It's one thing if they're 16-17 but look like they're sexually mature. It's completely different if your "preference" is for those who clearly look like they are pre-pubescent. It's not about opinion at that point, it's about sexual dysfunction.

And we were discussing the guy who's countries legal age is 14. So we still persecute him in that case - because we feel it's wrong? I don't see your guys logic. And I feel you guys are missing the line between attraction and action.
