Well,
/goes to watch 897MB encode of the Order 1886 announcement trailer
This scene, man, this damn scene.
I kinda know where you are coming from but I think that its hard to say how it will play since we haven't seen anything yet. I'm gonna take the wait and see approach before judging. But I hope its not just a Gears clone
This game is the one that made me go "Holy fucking shit! next gen is here".
I did not know Sony Santa Monica had a hand in all this. Now I am really amped.
They really don't. This is purely RAD's project.
I mean I'm excited for this game, but I don't think I'm gonna get over that aspect ratio. :\
But Santa Monica is helping right, like they did with Journey? If that's the case that's good enough for me.

Yeah they are just helping with it,not making it.I don't think that they're involved on the project in a way where what they do will make or break it. It's really RAD's game. Whether or not it's great or bad is all on them. They deserve all the credit no matter how things go.
The new IP I'm most interested in.
Very much like the style and setting. One of the thing that interests me most is physics, apparently they've got some really interesting soft body physics stuff going on.

That's cool. I am just hoping they are advising on the technical aspect of the game. They do have some involvement with it from what we can see.
RAD are doing some amazing things in their engine. Visually, and technically, it will wow you guys when you all see it in action, in real time gameplay.
It already wows me and I haven't seen anything.RAD are doing some amazing things in their engine. Visually, and technically, it will wow you guys when you all see it in action, in real time gameplay.

If this is all in game, then wow! Still not too happy about the borders as I don't think it belongs to videogames at all - it hampered the experience for Dragon's Dogma imo.

True. It's almost February and we haven't seen anything from this game and the last time we saw something was last year (June I think?).At this point there is so much shit they gotta show at E3 I hope Sony realizes it's too much and finds a way to show some things off before then, at GDC and whatnot.

They need to show something or the hype will go down.
